#15 - “I said one dog! One!” (I hope you like this babe! This is my first time writing Jax so I hope it isn’t that bad haha)

Dating Jax has its ups and downs, especially with the things he does with the club. Some days you want to be told and others you just want to seem like every other normal couple on this planet. But you still loved him all the same. 

Things between you and Jax were really good as of late, and Abel was just about to turn 4 years old. He had been begging you for a puppy for his birthday and naturally, you thought that would be a great idea for the little boy. However, Jax thought differently. When the two of you discussed it he told you he didn’t want more responsibility thrown onto your shoulders and after you reassured him multiple times that you didn’t care…he consented. 

Abel was ecstatic to say the least that night when the both of you sat with him on the couch, telling him that you’d be taking him to pick out a puppy the next day. He was excitedly talking to both you and Jax over what he might name the puppy and he couldn’t sit still. Which caused Jax to get a bright smile, his arm going around your shoulder pulling you closer as the two of you listened to the animated little boy. 

The next day when Jax walked through the front door, exhausted after the dealings of the clubs affairs, he just wanted to lay down with you in his arms and fall into a peaceful sleep. What he ended up getting was something pulling as his pants leg and something else nibbling on his shoe. 

“Shit. Y/N!” Jax stood at the front entrance and waited for you to appear. He raised his eyebrows when you peeked out from behind the wall and pointed down to the two puppies running around his feet. “What is this?”

“Well, the black one is Pepper and the white one is…”

“Let me guess…salt?” 

You couldn’t help but laugh and shake your head as you leaned over to pick the white one up, “No her name is Princess. Both names picked out by your son.”

Jax held up a finger but had to pull it away as the puppy tried to bite it, “I said one dog! One!”

Right as you went to open your mouth to explain yourself, Abel came running up to Jax, “Daddy daddy! I gots two puppies for my birfday!”

“I see that buddy, I thought daddy said only one though?” Jax made a pointed look your direction as he picked Abel up in his arms. All you did was smile and kiss little Princess on the head. 

“Yeah but dey brover and siter and you tell me famiwy is impotent.”

Here’s the last of @piningforthefords‘ four Stan Twins one-shots (at least, that’s the number for now; I don’t know if there’s going to be more coming). This one carries more angst from Stan’s perspective, so beware.
