Say hello to THE Lan Daikon, the first of fanarts for MDZS for me, the start of my using this style for drawing things! an emote i use endlessly on discord! at this point I can no longer remember if this was supposed to be Sizhui or Lan Wangji, but i drew it keeping them both in mind so tagged they both are!

Anyways, I've got a coffee cup with this on that i love and am otherwise obsessed with the Lan Daikon I love him and now I'm sharing him 💜

So recently, enabled encouraged by the MDZS Meltdown Renegade peeps I was convinced to was Word of Honor (AND DID IT IN A VERY REASONABLE FIVE[maybe 6?] DAYS RHI) and obviously became immediately obsessed with Xie Wang.

You can fit so much fucked up relationships in this badboy. Had to stop in the middle of an episode to draw this. Did a whole new style i've never even tried before, as you do. Lots of fun 100% recommend both FAFO in drawing your blorbos and also watching Word of Honor.

They all need so, so much therapy and I do not want them to have it.

I don't remember why Jiang Cheng is an orange emoji, but honestly one of my favorite emoji redraws for this. I'm entirely obsessed with how the redbubble listings for this turned out. something about an Oranges shower curtain calls to corners of my soul I did not know existed.

Another entry for Funguary February, the one i had to definitely absolutel 100% spellcheck both words because I have and will never internalize how I before E except after C except probably other things works and I always question it. and also Amethyst is just a fake ass word. I don't pronounce it the way i'd spell it and the memory banks are too full for her lads.

I spent SO MUCH TIME on that hair flip and put all of my desire for white-ink tattoos to be worth the investment into this one. Also, what cool ass eyes, I should steal those for another character. I dunno which ones I just like em.

The carp taught me humility, because I thought to myself "I'll save the easiest one for last. Fish is gonna be SO easy" And then It was legitimately the hardest one of the whole bunch. Bunji? Easy. Breeze. Baby? Even easier! The Simplicity Was Not A Problem.

but the fish what a fucker, is all I have to say. It didn't take me the longest, but it felt the worst, you know?

To keep it humble, now lets look at one of my least favorites I drew for Funguary. I don't even think it's *bad* it's just that I don't like it. I was still trying new brushes, new styles, and It was just one of those days it isn't all coming together like you hope it will. It can be really discouraging when you find yourself in that position, but that's just how art is.

And, real talk? It makes looking back at my favorites even better. Because yeah I don't like this one and yeah I just wasnt able to execute the idea that was in my head to the standard I wanted, but it's not because i'm not capable and just a few images away in my Funguary folder is proof of that. Maybe sometimes I'm drawing like this, but it makes the times when I bust out the glowshroom even better.
