for both of them its mostly just about the way theyre written i ngame... when it comes to carl*nty, the way they treat eachother in the 2nd game makes me uncomfortable when its ina romantic context,,, mostly how monty treats carla honestly, with the whole Forcing her to go on a date with him thing. i dont mind it one sided on monty's side but i REALLY dont like when its mutual
as for lilg*t they are written HORRENDOUSLY throughout teh WHOLE series and with both of them (esp nugget) being some of my favorite characters it pisses me off,, they both become Worse Written when theyre around eachother its insufferable
