hair color: right now it's all fucked up (blonde, brown, pink, orange, yellowish), but it will soon be dyed pink

one thing you love about yourself: my ability to infodump on certain things and the fact that i'm almost always right on political history/politics

what animal i would be: frog. frogs are just so cool and chill on lily pads at the creek all day

dream place to visit: ireland!! one of my special interests is actually irish history!!!

1. What's your blog title from?

Since my blog title is just what I'm currently into, I'll answer this for my blog name. "Eowyn" is the name of one of my favourite characters from Lord of the Rings (one of the original girlbosses imo) and fantasy is just what the theme of this blog is.

So...not particularly creative but I do like it.

2. Latest movie? What did you think?

Prisoners (2013). I watched it on a recommendation and I thought it was great. Loved the imagery, and all the ways the title of the movie can be applied to the events, people and their situations. Also, emotionally tortured Hugh Jackman is hot.

3. What are you looking forward to right now?

Reading and replying to comments on the newest chapter of my fic. It genuinely makes my day❤️

4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?

I've been itching to rewatch my favourite K-Drama Dong Yi but it has 50 one hour long episodes so it's a big undertaking.

5. Drink of choice?

I am weak for a good energy drink if I'm being honest (it's a shame it's so unhealthy💀). Otherwise carbonated water.

I can't stand non-carbonated (I know it's immature, but I can't help that I hate the non-taste and non-sensation of drinking water without ANYTHING. It makes drinking feel like such a chore and I hate that.)

6. Hair routine?

Nothing really. I've got basic white person straight hair. I should probably do more with it but I don't have the patience.

7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?

I love flying. Like I genuinely like the feeling of the plane taking off, that fluttery feeling in your stomach. I don't fly often at all though (I do try to be environmentally conscious). I'd like to give one of those speedy boats a try once just to know what it's like.

8. Favourite month and why?

My birthday is in May, and 5 is a satisfying number, so May. Plus, late spring is a good season. It's warm but not too hot.

9. Favourite time of day and why?

Late afternoon, going into night. It's time just for myself, with very few responsibilities where I can write or watch or just relax.

10. Do you play or follow any sports?

Not really. I have a good friend who's really into F1 so I know a bit about that, but I'm just not an organized sports kind of person. I had a phase when I was a teen where I really liked wrestling and Strongman competitions tho.

11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?

I've been listening to older Stray Kids songs lately.

12. Dishes or laundry?

Laundry. I have a thing about touching unwashed dishes, I just can't do it and have to gag🙃

13. Something you learned recently?

That my boyfriend is a year older than my boss at my internship. Shocked me because my boss has big boomer energy and my boyfriend...does not.

14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?

The rise of purity culture and why it's so bad for our society.

15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?

"Have you talked about this with them?"

I'm an avid believer in talking things out.

16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?

Don't worry about finding someone and having your first real relationship. You're not unloveable. It will happen soon.

17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rituals?

I don't believe in any of that. The only "lucky" item I carry is a cross necklace I got as a gift. But that's more for its emotional value than anything else. It does make people think I'm super religious though (I'm not).

18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?

No to both. I get horrible stage fright.

19. Write, type or speak?

Writing or typing all the way. I can express myself much better when I have time to think, when there's no pressure.

20. What do you wish someone would ask you?

I can't really think of anything right now, but I'm pretty open to talk about whatever, so if you're ever curious about my writing process or me as a person, just hit up my inbox!
