REIN THATCHER
Rein is the older brother of Felix, the father of Kieran, ex-husband of Ivana, and Fiance to Aria. Being abandoned by their parents at a young age, Rein had to make money to provide for him and his younger brother, worked a couple of jobs before starting up his own merchant business at age 16. Then at 19 years old he met Ivana and the two quickly rushed into marriage with being young and dumb...not a smart idea
They fought constantly when their son Kieran wasn't around, Ivana struggling to live up to the social pressure of the wealthy life with the parties and high society events they got invited to on occasion, not to mention she didn't see the point in spending so much on the lavish things Rein bought, meanwhile Rein was the opposite, loving the status and parties, wanting to spoil himself and his loved ones with things he didn't get the luxury to have growing up, he was extremely generous too. So they got divorced, and after that it was like a huge wave of relief washed over them getting rid of all the tension between them....the two could just be friends like it was always meant to be, and while they moved on with their now respective partners and wished they hadn't wasted so much time on each other.
They would do it all over again if it meant having their son Kieran, because he is both of their biggest joys and they would give up anything just to have him in every lifetime. Because even if they had to let go of each other, their love for him will never die.
