Hey Dy here....

Man what a wonderful night that day was. It was almost full house, still they were great. Knowing that i be performing in front of the world's best audience, i got a bit nervous at first. It was my friends and teachers that spur me on, helping me gain back my confidence. That day i was about to get sick so I looked like a zombie somehow. Knowing that everyone looked forward for that day, i too did the same, there may some set backs when i feel like fainting, well still the show must go on. When I was helping out moving the percussion instrument that morning, the logistic team and i did something ridiculous, we took turns playing with the truck's elevator. Of course who am I, the great joker. Then the rest of the band took turns as well. Lol. During the rehearsals, i screwed up a little here and there and started to feel scared a little. Ying Qian( our Band Major) started going around taking pictures for the the band group. Looking at those pictures now, i can relate how happy they were. At that time, i was feeling feverish and coughing non stop. All i want was them to have fun. I went back in the room to rest while they started taking more photos. Yup the teachers have taken good care of me...( i appreciate it :D). At 1900, we heard from Mr Naga that the event is about to start. After setting up the stage, Mr Lim(our conductor) did a final tuning and we were all set for the night. As the doors open, people started strolling in to find their seats.being the first event of that night meant we were all settled down there to wait till the clock strikes 1930( the time the show start). I started looking around for people i know. Then i came on to someone familiar, i am far sighted so i cant see a thing but i felt that i saw that person before. Words couldn't describe that person. Going back to the stage, my hands start to sweat as i looked at the number of people that came that night. Luckily there was the house music that could calm me down and i end up lip syncing to it( i could be singing but i was having sore throat as well). The lights went dark and all i could see was the light being shone on the two Emcees of that evening. After introducing us, we stood up as Mr Lim walked up the stage. With a bow and a wave, the band sat down. When i was playing the pieces, i realized that his hands was graceful as they glided in the air, guiding us through the music. He was born with this talent and i appreciate his love for music. With the mindset of allowing the audience to enjoy what they are hearing and for me to have fun, i played it in the way i never had before. I was literally having fun. Sadly all fun things have to come to an end, we took a bow and left the stage. The applause was so like music to my ears as the crowd cheered for our performances. After the performance, we had more things to do, the band and i had to shift our instruments back to school and had to made it back just in time for the finale. On the bus, everyone started to chill and have fun. Everyone ended up having a karaoke session at the back of the bus. Lols. It was a a joke for me to sing as i was having sore throat. Back at SP, we took more photos. Bt this photo is the best of all.

Look, how much fun we are having. Lol.  For the finale, it was a joke. Me and Clinton was persuading Edmund to dance. Guess what? We did. We made a fool of ourselves and had fun. QuestBand is my family and i am proud to be a member of it. Still, do you know after everything, i tried to find you, like always i always missed the chance...lol but it was still a fun night......:D It was a night to be remembered...
