War, Gryphon))
Sunshine had gone to the shop to talk with Gryphon about getting Millie fixed. Everything had been fine, there had been some polite conversation, nothing much, really. However, they had both noticed the small side-comments the other would throw in. A small snarky comment here, a little gesture there, just a small build-up of tension until until Gryphon had asked whether Millie was Sunshine's daughter and she had replied with the words, "Not yet". It had been a mistake. A huge one.
They found themselves arguing at the top of their lungs. "You don't even deserve him!" Gryphon yelled. "You think I don't know that?" she hissed in reply. "But neither do you! So suck it up, he's with me now. And it's permanent. At least I won't leave him!" "And what is that supposed to mean?" "He came to you for a second chance and you had already moved on. And even if you weren't going to leave him for someone else, you're human. You die." "Leave him for someone else? You bitch!" "Hey, at least I'm fucking honest. Let's face it here, Gryphon, I'm better for him than you. Even if he were to leave me now and by some impossibility came back to you, would you really want him to be with you? Would you really want him to see you die all over again?" Her face contorted into a sneer. "You bitch," Gryphon said, shaking her head. "You human."
