My blog "Quelchevale" reached 10000 followers! Thanks to everyone who is following it from years and also to whoever has just discovered it. Thanks for letting me reach out to the whole world! Of course my way of returning the favour will be to keep on posting my watercolours, gouaches and oils. So far I already posted 1385 of my works and the will to do more is always increasing.
Questa è la mia tavolozza per i colori ad olio, in questi giorni la uso molto. È degli anni '50 ed era in una valigetta da pittore che ho comprato a Porta Portese, a parte i colori, pennelli e tele uso solo attrezzatura antica già usata da qualche pittore, mi piace di più di quella moderna è fatta meglio, con più cura nei dettagli e soprattutto ha una storia. Questo è il punto, la tavolozza non è grande, misura 21x31cm è molto comoda poggiata sul braccio ma è pesante, pesa quasi 600gr e alla lunga si sentono. Continuo ad usarla proprio per il suo peso che è dovuto a tutti gli strati di colore non raschiati. È impossibile toglierli ora, dopo tanti anni il colore è cristallizzato. Tutti questi strati mi danno sicurezza, la tavolozza è esperta e ben allenata. Si sa che tutti i quadri prima che sulla tela stanno sulla tavolozza belli finiti, chissà come dipingeva questo pittore...
