at this point you should have a faq post on your pinned, unfortunately. + i giggled at the ask of f!r/afab!r x kai because the only thought i had was about possible internalized homophobia
however, that is not the point. i think insinuating to requesting ftm!r to read it as f!r is so weird. ftm implies reader is a man. do not define gender by what's between reader's legs. that's so... it beats the whole point!!
am i the asshole if i say ban cishets from queer spaces unless they are there to either educate themselves or enjoy art without projecting their own identity into it? 🥩
honestly, you are not wrong. i probably do need some kind of faq at this point, if only so i can pin my boundaries to the wall like a medieval notice and stop having the same conversation in slightly different wigs every week. (i might add it once i change my theme rip…)
and yes, that is exactly part of what bothered me. the weird little slippage where “ftm reader” gets treated as something negotiable, as if “man” is still up for reinterpretation the second someone wants access badly enough. it is such a revealing reflex. if the reader is a trans man, then the reader is a man. full stop. you do not get to rummage around in his assigned sex like you are looking for a loophole. that defeats the point so completely that it starts to feel less like confusion and more like ideological stubbornness!!!
