We had our first OUTreach meeting of the 2011/2012 school year last night. 

[OUTreach is the University of Alberta's on campus sexual minority and gender variant student group] 

I must say, as my third year in OUTreach, last night we had over double what we ever had at one meeting last year. 

It was great to see so many queers come together on campus and enjoy the safe space!  I met lots of great people and I'm looking forward to a great OUTreach year!
