if he doesn’t have a collar to take him by i would be a bit wary of how you try and get a lead on him

we caught a stray dog once by using a piece of string as a lead (he was very friendly, had a collar and all but he was alone and wandering near the road) and taking him to the nearest authority

Brig out apples or other snacks! Start by giving him distance and let him slowly come to you for the food! Especially if he looked emaciated it’ll be good for him and he’ll def respond to food

Yeah I definitely wasn’t going to try and put a leash on him, especially without a collar. I’d probably end up choking him and that’s no good :(

I was thinking using treats or food to try and lead him into the dog park and close him in there (it’s fenced off), but getting him to come close to me was pretty hard. I had to sit right down on the ground and not move to get him to sniff me. He seemed to like my fiancee’s dog, though. She started barking and he ran right over and started sniffing her.
