There's a line between "this thing is problematic but I can still enjoy it as long as I think critically about the media I am consuming" and "it is problematic that I can still enjoy this thing because no amount of critical thinking can change that I am consuming this amount of shit." But what is this line? Because I fear it might be Chad Kennedy.

I know some people I really respect are debating boycotting/giving up on SPN. I just need more time to figure this all out. And that distresses me because shouldn't I be able to just decide where I fall on this issue? And shouldn't where I fall be with my fellows, my community, and my friends?
