thalia has a lot of fun confusing Straight People™️ by saying “this is my boyfriend’s skirt doesn’t she have good taste?” or “oh my girlfriend is picking me up, they’re just running late”

much fun can be had with many sets of pronouns

occasionally she’ll even try out different pronouns for herself just to see how it feels

she pretends she’s stealing your pronouns for the day like a little thieving gremlin

and so becomes a game where you have to chase her and catch her to get them back

undoubtably this ends up in you pinning her down and making out with her until you’re laughing too much to continue

"Grace! What the fuck?"

"Oh shut up," she swatted at my hands that attempted to push her off. "I'm gonna do your eyeliner, not fuck you."

I rolled my eyes. "Oh please, as if you don't wanna fuck me."

Thalia winked. "I never said I didn't want to." She popped that cap off the eyeliner pen. "Now close your eyes or I will aim for your eyeballs on purpose."

Obediently I closed my eyes, only slightly hesitant of my occasionally violent friend pinning me under her with no escape.

I felt the pen sweep carefully over the delicate skin of my eyelids. Sensing that Thalia was only a few inches away from my face, I focused on her breathing. Or, I tried to.

"Thalia, bubs, why are you not breathing." A gust of air pushed against my face. "Don't breathe directly on my face, bitch!"

"Do you want me to breathe or not?!"

"Breathe like a normal person!"

"Shut up and let me make you look pretty." Thalia lightly slapped my cheek. I laughed.

"Kinky."

"That's gay, dude."

I tried to supress my giggles to not jiggle the girl on top of me. "Bubs, we're both gay. I'm also always pretty."

Thalia moved onto the other eye. "Keep your eyes closed- you are also always pretty, I'm just accessorising your face to enhance the prettiness."

Relaxing my face, I focused on not blushing under her praise. I felt a very light breeze flutter over my face- Thalia encouraging the wet eyeliner to dry faster.

"Okay, open your eyes and up you get." Thalia's weight lifted off my hips and I tried not to let my disappointment show- the weight was comforting- as I sat up and opened my eyes. The mirror on the other side of the room showed me clean eyeliner, sharp enough to cut someone.

"Hey, it looks pretty good," I joked, standing up and walking over to the mirror. "It's like those alt girl eyeliner images on pinterest."

Thalia sauntered up next to me, and I noticed she'd given me eyeliner that matched hers. "Thank you my friend, I'm amazing, I know." She kissed my cheek lightly. "And you're pretty, so we should go get food because it's nearly dinner time and show off your cute new look."

I took a subtly deep breath- she called me cute, kind of- and I grinned at her. "Careful, if you show me off too much they'll think we're a couple."

She grinned back and threw an arm over my shoulders. "Who cares, I have the most gorgeous friend and I'm allowed to show her off."

"Let's go, weirdo." I pulled her out the door, trying to ignore my racing heart and the tiny spark of hope flickering in my chest.
