Form for our last before the last round. Chose the best out of three to decide the two competitors for Southern Illinois Universities as hosted by SRN 2023 drag show theme!!!
Last battle before the final round. Please pick the best out of three of the themes for this years drag show!
The goth pride group I co-host recently announced that we're becoming a non-profit organization and we got so many congratulations and likes and shares on social media and people already asking to join that I am sitting here, trying to concentrate on the paperwork, but most of the time I'm just hyperventilating. 😅

Heyo!
So, I've never written a post like this, but this queer support group is looking for donations to fund a transport bus! Their goal is to support queer people in rural areas and give them the opportunity to find community outside of their own home area, because in those rural areas they're often faced with homophobia, transphobia or general queerphobia.
Every little donation helps! If you have any spare cash, please consider helping. I'm also one of those rural kids that looks to them for community.
Thank you so much!

Heyo!
Jede kleine Spende hilft! Falls du auch nur ein bisschen Kleingeld übrig hast, bitte zieh es in Betracht zu helfen. Ich gehöre auch zu diesen Landkindern, die diese Gruppe unterstützt.
My name is Rei! I am one of last year’s student leaders for Include.
I created this blog to be a space for queer individuals both inside and outside of Champlain College to converse with one another, give information on current events, and also provide education. Unfortunately, that plan failed as I was taking on too much at once.
I have made the decision to remove all of the past content and start once again!
So here we go! Look forward to content, education, discussion and hopefully much more.

Something i posted in our uni's lgbtqia facebook page after i became aware one of the incoming queer officers left the group after i asked him to stop trying to hijack a thread about the murder of trans women and centre men. ----- Maybe it's because i am in a bad place mental health wise as I'm dealing with navigating a complaint i made about transphobic discrimination to the uni. Maybe it's cos one of my closest cis friends disbelieved me and brought up 'biology' in chosing to side with the random cis (het??) Woman she's never met and tried to justify her mistreatment of me. But i am worried about a trend in the queer department page (and about the non-fb space) where I'm talking about transmisogyny and/or cissexism and people have been talking over me and dismissing my experiences; and then calling me a bully for asserting my lived experiences. I am not here to punish people's ignorance but i don't feel very supported when i am explaining why casting cis men to play trans women characters and then attacked and vilified for not just letting people express their harmful and /very popular/ views without opposition. (Thinking a cis man should be cast as a trans woman says to me you think I'm actually the same as a cis man just so you know~~~) I have posted excerpts calling out transphobia under the guise of sexual preference and been told, in a facile manner, that 'love is love' and that it's rude a.f. to go policing that... even if those attitudes exclude and harm trans people. I have mentioned that i feel 'same sex' is a cissexist and biological essentialist term which harms and excludes trans people and been told by several people that i have no idea what I'm talking about and that i should 'take the high road' and stop being so angry/ make such a big deal out of nothing. Just last week i reposted a piece about a man who confessed to murdering his trans woman partner... and got... a suspended sentence. And was then accused of being heartless and oppressive when someone hijacked the topic and tried to talk about trans men and the fact sometimes people didn't know about them?? - and i tried to bring it back to a discussion of oh how awful it was that trans women were being murdered and nothing really was being done. (Especially trans women of colour. Never forget) Basically i have often been vilified and cast in the 'angry trans woman' stereotype. But i am still here. This is the only community i have. I don't have another place i can go to be welcomed and socialise, i don't have another group i can go to in preference of this one. So i try to educate and make it better. Safer for me and those like me. Yet people call me angry. Call me irrational, illogical, too emotional, upset, cisphobic (as if there's such a thing) and accuse me of being a bully (almost nothing makes me cry harder). They leave the group rather than engage with me. And this is mostly practiced by the men in this group. So i don't have a great feeling about next year when one of our incoming queer officers was practicing that exact behavior. Please help me. Please help make this a safer space for women, (especially trans women) people of colour, disabled people, and gender diverse people. Please help me educate others on oppressive language and gently correct them. Please help me oppose the spreading of oppressive ideas. I am not saying that nobody should post anything. Just that if you are not a member of one of those marginalised groups and a member of one mentions something is problematic, please believe them. In 2016, regardless of who the queer officers are or are not, please make this a safer space in more than name alone. Xx Zac
Queer group is on hold until further notice... I was relying on someone to heavily aid in the creation of the blog. She has recently decided to take a break from tumblr.
