          another new york storm. how apropos. as the rain fell against the window, olivia tucked her feet underneath her on the couch in her office. it was too late to even consider trying to get a decent amount sleep. she was lucky that lucy was able to stay with noah overnight. she didn’t think she could bring herself to try and pull herself out of... whatever mood this was. the phones out in the bullpen were ringing, and it started getting louder and louder until she got up and padded socked foot, very unprofessional but she didn’t care. another thing that was unlike her. she always cared. ‘ someone pick up the damn phones. ’ she snapped before walking back to her spot on the couch. she thinks she can hear someone enter her office, but she’s back to staring out the window so she isn’t one hundred percent sure. ‘ how can it just be... over? ’ she drags her eyes from the window to where she thought whoever was in her office. ‘ just like that? ’

             “SEVENTEEN---??  You’re practically a PROFESSIONAL; that does sound like so much fun, though.”

lazy london mornings,  with the weather cold and biting,  spent in the safety of home are her very favorite.  the only thing that makes them better?  simple.  her mother being free to share them with her.  pale fingers toy with the locket ‘round her neck,  bright hair cascading down her back as a smile idly crosses her lips.   “i think we should throw a surprise party for grandfather.  his birthday’s coming soon,  and i’m certain he’d love it,”

          ‘well, i have been taking italian classes and i’m learning a lot. like linguini, spaghetti, ravioli... i guess it’s more of a PART-TIME job, but still.’ dating was never really erin’s forte, but when it came to talking, she could very easily go on autopilot and not think about it as much. kelly TAUGHT her that. ‘soooo, have you been up to any part-time jobs or language classes lately?’
