5, 23, 34?
weeeee!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I love rambling and any excuse to do so just brightens my everything. So thank you!
5. What’s the fic you’re most proud of?
Tough tie between Little Love, which is my pride and joy atm and it has already introduced to me so many amazing people and their OCs. I think about them all everyday and just smile. And then there's this ancient piece called Of All The King's Wives that was my first big fic and it got me more reviews than I've ever had, plus friends I flew across the country to meet. Close call.
23. Do you prefer prompts and challenges, or completely independent ideas?
It depends on the story. For Little Love, though, it's definitely prompts. Because while my ideas are fun and all, the prompts and challenges encourage me to write better, which has helped me in my original stories in so many ways. And I get to meet people who love Astarion and the story of BG3 as much as I do and it's a beautiful feeling. 🥰
34. Copy and paste an excerpt you’re particularly fond of.
(I've definitley posted this before on here but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I have a lot of emotional investment in this future chappie for... reasons.)
They thought the sun would protect them. The whole lot― 8, 9, 10 of them― were stationed around the bulwark, light glistening from gold plate armor and anointed shields. Maybe it was Kelemvor, Ilmater, Tyr, or Lathander that made them believe they were safe. The high walls, the clear morning rays bearing down on them, the enchantments on their maces.
It didn’t matter. For she was a cold, cold wrath. A fury that bit and burned and tore as much as any sun could. She hoped their gods were watching.
Lirella sturdied her grip on the dagger’s hilt. A thrum as close to life as she’d ever felt wriggled down her veins, crackled in her fingers and palm. The urge barreled through her. Not yet, not yet. She kept the metal tautly sheathed, for she wouldn’t allow the light to betray her anymore than it had her entirety. A single glint, a ray that slipped through the rustling leaves and hit her blade like a beacon was all it would take to undo her revenge. No. All good predators knew when to strike, and she would do so only when the odds were in her favor. When the light of day gave her just enough dark.
No one expected a vampire to attack on a day as clear and blue as this. Then again, no one expected her to have survived at all. And she would use both elements to rip out every single one of their god-fearing throats.
Thank you again!!! 😘
