-- ✒ thanatos + hera (starter for @queencfclouds)
Thanatos massaged his temples. How he wished that the power loss had stuck. Sure, it had left a lingering emptiness and purposelessness, but that was a small price to pay for no longer having the feeling of death around him constantly. The other benefit would be that the goddess that he saw at the counter of the shop would maybe leave him be, but that wasn’t destined. Truthfully, he felt for Hera. death was hard for mortals, and it could not be easy for a goddess, especially when the gods were supposed to be immortal. He approached the counter, trying to ignore the overly sweet smell of death that was barely masked by the scent of coffee. “Unless you’re here for a latte and a muffin, the answer is still no.” He spoke firmly, “Even if I could tell you how someone was able to kill a god, which I can’t, I wouldn’t.”
