#queen thoughts

guys guys guys, you don't understand. john deacon is literally such a fire bassist. i swear, that man is an excellent and classic bass player (i think the term is virtuoso - please don't murder me if it's the wrong word) and you can HEAR it so well when he plays. his basslines in "millionaire waltz"???? they flow and dance so elegantly and effortlessly, it's a true blessing to witness such greatness. and unpopular maybe, but "who needs you"?? what a fucking slay. i swear to god, john is not human when it comes to music. he just ascends to a higher being the moment a bass is in his hands and i stan him for it.

What if I tell you I am always afraid, but I've learned to live with it anyway? Learn to hope, trust God, do my best, care and protect, enjoy the moment (even when I know true happiness lasts moments), acknowledge that my best life is mine to live and work hard for.

Queen was just a perfect combination of four guys who were in the right place at the right time and destined to make music together :)

The good ol' question. Queen would not achieve success without Freddie or Freddie would not achieve success without Queen?

Tbh I am getting fed up of all Queen stans who see their favourite through rose tinted glasses and 21st century values. Queen lived in a culture of disposable women, greed (South Africa anyone? tax avoidance?), ego, and homophobia. All of this is available in Peter Hince's book. I like Queen and their songs but its wrong to imprint your own ideals onto other people. None of them is ever going to win feminist or altruist of the year
