Happy Earth Day ya'll! This week brought much excitement. It was my birthday and while I was not necessarily thrilled to be that much more in the middle of middle age, I was so very thankful for all the sweet thoughts and gifts from family and friends.
It also brought me all my new supplies to start making tees! Thank you 0% apr for 14 months new credit card! As you know, I've done a few things with tshirts. My applique dinosaur birthday shirt has been a big success. But I wanted to do more. There's only so much you can do with embroidery.
So a chance meeting with a wonderful etsy shop owner and mom at the Chick fil a playground of all places led me on this new journey. She explained to me how to set up your own tshirt design shop in your home. While I won't go into all the specifics right now, I do plan on blogging about them at a later date. I'm just too anxious to show you my new tees! In this post, I'll be sharing my written word tees.
My husband is a huge Beatles fan and so this shirt was inspired by his love and by the fact that I have taken over his music room, so there are tons of Beatles posters and figurines side by side with my sewing accessories.
I don't know about you but I'm constantly saying this to my kids, little bumps and bruises. Plus my 3 year old and I love to belt it out in the car together.
My husband has become a biking fanatic as of late. And who doesn't love Queen? He just recently rode in the MS150. It was a great weekend and he raised money for a wonderful cause. I'm a proud wife!
Stay in touch for the new birthday designs blog post coming next week.
