Disney Fairies Headcanons #1: Queen Clarion’s Ensembles in the Books
Note: This headcanon connects the books and movies continuities.
My headcanon goes that her ensemble and wings in the films are made from pixie dust. However after the Pixie Dust Tree’s destruction, the fairies became acquainted with Mother Dove and relocated to the Home Tree. Pixie Dust is most likely less abundant as it used to, since it comes from Mother Dove’s molted feathers, so Clarion mostly requested ensembles from the Tailoring Fairies and/or her helper fairies.

I like how all the fairies are on a first-name basis with their queen, to the point where they have a nickname for her and call her Ree.

Queen Clarion's gown from the Fairy Dust trylogy is probably my favorite look for her. I'd take the ribbon/vine swirls over the pixie dust dress. The vine dress would surely be way too difficult to render tho, it is certainly very difficult to draw in 2D, but hey, maybe I'll get better at it. xD
