The Chessboard
Well, since the 2x12 episode came out the chess game Lena had in her table has always been bothering me.
Why? Well there are a lot of things that are off.
1st: when Kara left, the first thing Lena dis was taking the white knight out of the boar. I mean, Why just after Kara left? Why the knight?
This is a definition of a knight... And the first thing that came to my mind was Supergirl (omit the woman part even if we wish it was true). She represents good and fights for what it's right as the hero of National City.
2nd: She stares right at the piece and remember how she played with Lex and Lillian. In that flashback scene she used the knight to get a checkmate, this while capturing the queen.
This time she didn't did anything like that, she placed it right beside the queen. A position where the knight is vulnerable.
3rd: The queen it's the most powerful piece, she can move in all directions, giving her the same abilities as all the other pieces together... All of them except for the knight. The knights can move in an "L" form (coincidence??) a movement not allowed for the queen. Btw this two pieces are my favorites when I play, I have always think they complement each other.
4th: I realized this today and I feel like the most stupid person... The black king it's out of the board...
Yup, the "most" important piece it's not in the fucking board. Idk why or how but guess what, the King it's out of the game. I don't know if the king represents Lex but not man allowed in the dark side.
Lena has always been a complex character and it wouldn't be a surprise if she knows everything that happens behind her back. Until this day I think she knows everything but keeps her mouth shut in good will even if she can turn to the dark for what she believes. My opinion it's that Lena's the black Queen and Kara is the white Knight. We can all admit that Lena could kill Kara if she wanted to, not because she has the power (she actually has it) but because Kara truth her.
That's all folks, my rambling ends here.
Lena ftw

Princess Edith was christened this weekend. Princess Celia posed with Princess Edith, Princess Sylvia, and Prince Devon before the ceremony in the morning, and then the entire Royal Family posed for pictures after the ceremony.

The Princess is Sick
July 9th, 1897
Princess Celia has not been seen in public in almost a week. Rumors are circulating that she has contracted the same disease that claimed her brother, Prince Caiden, in her youth. Other rumors are saying she has fallen pregnant again and it’s proving to be a difficult pregnancy. Other rumors still are saying that she simply has contracted a nasty case of Stumpy Flu.
Either way, we hope Princess Celia recovers soon!
Princess Adelaide to Wed
June 25th, 1897
Her Majesty Queen Lena announced this morning that Princess Adelaide, her third-oldest child (remember Prince Caiden?) will wed Lord Cornelius Charm of Glimmerbrooke at the end of the season. Princess Adelaide will take Lord Cornelius’ title, effectively making her Lady Adelaide, but the Queen did say she intends to gift them one of her many properties.

Congratulations, Princess!
Princess Adelaide’s Birthday
June 14th, 1895
Princess Adelaide, the second and youngest daughter of Her Majesty, and second in line to the throne, aged up today. In her portrait, she looks positively regal, wearing a bespoke tiara given as a birthday present by Her Majesty and His Highness. It’s no question who the Prince wishes to be heir to the throne.
(Above, Princess Adelaide on her 17th birthday, June 14th, 1895)
At the dinner, she wore a green silk gown with matching velvet trim and the bandeau given by Prince Sebastian as well as a diamond choker and diamond earrings, gifts from Princess Celia.
Some might say she looks even more regal and queen-like than Princess Celia herself. To remind the readers, we’ve brought back Princess Celia’s portrait from her 17th birthday to compare.
If you ask me, they both look very throne-ready. Time will tell if either is, however!
Ever since returning from her honeymoon in Sulani, Princess Celia has been shadowing her mother on the job, however. So, it may be Princess Celia keeping the crown, after all!
