Learning to Network. Everyone you meet has skills and interests and connections. Some of them may further your goals. Sometimes their goals and your goals may align better than you think. And of course, be generous in offering your own skills and influence to those you seem worthy, both as it is the right thing to do and it may come in handy one day. Do not hesitate to make alliances. No one suceeds alone.

Understanding the power of image. Especially if you present female, know that you will be judged on how you look, and you cannot change that, but you do have control over how you choose to present yourself, and it goes much deeper than just what you wear. You can choose what story you tell.

Having people you can take the image off with. No one can be in the public eye 24/7. Even princesses had friends, often ladies in waiting , with whom they could relax and be themselves. Don't give that gift out indiscriminately, but having a trusted circle of friends who can relax around you as well is essential for mental health. And better one true person than a thousand false ones.

Respecting "well-behaved women". While some princesses grew to becomes powerful rulers in their own right or behind the scenes, the vast majority did not, and lived privileged, but unremarkable lives. It's not just the #girlbosses and #badgirls who show examples of strength, power, and love, but the women who don't have the ability, opportunity or privilege to make their voices heard, of both today and yesterday. The women who don't make history deserve their story told, and your love and respect as well.
