Hunter is... the silent, macho type. Half of the fandom will depict him as a lowkey ace because they’ll see him as stone-cold and immediately associate that with having little-to-no interest in anyone. Would be largely misinterpreted and stereotyped by various parts of the audience. People would either focus too much on his military training/physical capabilities or on his intelligence. Possibly used in army/war or detective aus, both having to deal with some form of abuse, coping mechanisms, or mental illness. Despite some characterizing him as asexual, others will use their au fics to fit him into some kind of relationship, whether it’s a quickies budding into romance type thing at work or during training periods, only to have the significant other die in some tragic way that turns him all the colder. Mostly, a large portion of the fandom would focus more on his strength and build. Lots of fanart of him shirtless and probably flexing.
