@quarryhag gets a starter for Dylan :))
"Even when I'm not in the mood to smile, you get me to fucking laugh. God Dylan just fuck off." Billy said with a sigh as he tried and failed to hide a smile. He threw a pillow directly at his face before laying back on the bed. "Don't get all sappy and bullshit on me. Just smoke me out and let me touch you. " He never did well around mother's day and father's day. Those were definitely not holidays to celebrate so he was in a mood but his shell cracked a bit around his boyfriend. Dylan was good at getting him out of his head and he needed that. " Are you gonna keep staring at me or are you going to come here?"

@quarryhag asked: why wonβt you let me help you ? Dylan to Amanda/Mandi
SHE DIDNβT QUITE KNOW how to respond to that. Yes, she desperately needed help, but sheβd always fended for herself. It wasnβt easy, taking on other peopleβs burdens while ALSO trying to be a single mother to the twins, but she could manage well enough. For some reason, the idea of accepting help from someone else made Mandi feelβ¦ UNCOMFORTABLE. Maybe because she didnβt want to be a burden. Maybe because she wanted to prove that she could do it herself. Whatever the reason, she shook her head with a soft albeit slightly sad smile. βBecauseβ¦ IβM supposed to be helping YOU. Right?β Even she knew that was bullshit. Still, she didnβt want to admit it β OR accept the help, despite how much she needed it.
Smash or lash to Jacob LMAO (is he trolling? Maybe)

"I like to call it... crafty, creative..." And, after seeing the results; cruel. Never did she think Abi would take it so roughly, that she'd take it the wrong way, even. She was just trying to help... and maybe make Jacob jealous, see if that got him out of his mopey state and out of her case... In hindsight, she had been stupid. Despite this, she still brushed it off on the surface. Once she got to talk to Abi alone, she'd be able to properly explain herself... hopefully.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. If I didn't try to steer things the right way, nothing would happen. I was just..." Well, she didn't have to hold back. Right now, it was just Dylan and her. So, she lifts her gaze only slightly, a hint of regret and doubt reflected, as if the mask was crumbling.
"I was mostly trying to be a friend... You know, help out. I wasn't trying to be a bitch or anything. You get me, right?"
@quarryhag sent β eventually, you just get used to it. β - luke

"Funny-"
The word left her lips before she could restrain herself, the sentiment was far too rested in her mind. There was a part of her that wanted to believe him, that suddenly that feeling of SHARING her existence with someone something else would become somewhat tolerable. And yet, there was a part of her that LIKED the idea of hope; something about it she always seemed to cling to. Hope was something she still never let go of, even if she didn't let anyone know it sat hidden in her pocket. It was like an imaginary friend of hers, one she knew after a certain age would seem foolish to hold onto so tightly and yet she still did.
"Sorry, it's just like... Hard to believe anything will ever be silent again," Jen shrugged her shoulders, her hand ran through her hair nervously for a moment. Her mind wandered to a time before all of this, before she become whatever she was now. Had things ever been that quiet? Jen had a hard time remembering the reality of it all, even now. "Like actual and real silence, you know? I could get used to... It or THIS. But I'm never going to have that sort of peace again, am I?"
@quarryhag sent "I'll be glad that I made it out. And sorry that it all went down like it did." - Bo (AU where he gets out of the drug ring???)

Her smile was always saved for specific moments, whether it was the ACTUALLY feeling that pushed its way through her chest or to get something she wanted. Beyond that, her features usually stayed fairly stoic, her eyebrows and nose did more of the talking than her lips did. The simplicity and the smallness of this smile nodded to the notion that this was sentiment. She soaked in his words, a small nod followed shortly after as her eyes shot downward.
"It's like... It's good you're in one piece," her words hummed lightly, she shrugged her shoulders. Her hand moved to brush a stray hair of her own behind her ear as she took the moment to think. There had always been a part of her that worried, that wanted to know that in the end, he'd be alright. That feeling was tied with a sense of guilt, the inability she had shown to be better at being there for him. "You don't have anything to apologize for, you know? If anyone should be apologizing, I'm pretty sure it should be me."
