Quantum Readiness Dashboard Leads By Palo Alto Networks
Quantum Readiness
A Cutting-Edge Security Suite for AI-Powered Multicloud Environments and Quantum Age
Palo Alto Networks, a cybersecurity pioneer, released two new security solutions that secure dynamic workloads in multicloud and AI scenarios and prepare enterprises for quantum computing. These solutions enable organisations awareness, agility, and strong defences to increase security in complex digital environments and accelerate quantum preparation.
Palo Alto Networks Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network Security Anand Oswal said, “The quantum danger to encryption is no longer speculative; it's inevitable. Action is needed.
Enhancing Quantum Readiness Palo Alto Networks is leading quantum era defence with a holistic approach to quantum readiness. The following are key quantum security aspects:
The Quantum Readiness Dashboard lets Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) users assess their cryptographic risk. It helps organisations manage cryptography usage and ensure compliance with Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards such FIPS 203: ML-KEM, FIPS 204: ML-DSA, and FIPS 205: SLH-DSA.
First Cypher Translation Technology: This capability quickly fixes legacy apps without quantum-safe encryption to meet post-quantum security standards by translating traffic behind a firewall. This protects present systems without rebuilding.
Quantum-Optimized Hardware: Palo Alto Networks introduced 14 fifth-generation NGFW models for PQC processing. The ruggedised PA-455R-5G, integrated branch PA-500 Series, and data centre PA-5500 Series are examples.
QRNG: Quantum Random Number Generator Quantum Random Number Generator API. This framework, published to promote multi-vendor interoperability, lets organisations build powerful QRNG-based solutions irrespective of technology. QRNG exploits quantum particle randomness to generate truly random and unpredictable integers for high-quality cryptographic keys. Integration, interoperability, acceptability, and high-quality entropy acquisition will be simplified via the QRNG Open API. It was developed with ID Quantique, Qrypt, Anametric, Quantinuum, Quantropi, and Quside. Palo Alto Networks NGFWs will support this Open API later this year.
Unified Network Security, AI Transformation, Multicloud The new solutions also address multi-cloud, AI-driven infrastructure dynamics, which often lead to inconsistent policies and blind spots.
CLARA: Cloud Network and AI Risk Assessment Tool This application constantly searches cloud and AI assets for security holes and areas that need supervision.
Automatic deployment and scaling: The solution creates a secure multicloud networking mesh and deploys Prisma AIRS instances, software, and cloud firewalls. The platform evolves organically to meet demand and integrates native load balancing without external point solutions. This industry-first network security platform automatically identifies, implements, and scales security solutions for dynamic multi-cloud and AI settings.
Precision AI and PAN-OS 12.1 Orion power this. PAN-OS 12.1 Orion improves network security by being smarter, more predictable, and stronger. Palo Alto Networks' patented Precision AI system uses machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI to predict assaults and automate defences. Precision AI seeks proactive risk minimisation and 90% alert fatigue reduction.
Enhancements to PAN-OS 12.1 Orion and Precision AI
Advanced DNS Security Resolver (ADNSR): Strata Cloud Manager integrates with ADNSR to provide centralised visibility and enterprise-grade DNS-based threat defence in hybrid and multivendor systems.
Device security uses many integrations and active and passive data collection to discover, assess, and protect all managed and unmanaged IoT devices.
Latest AI-Driven Threat Detections: New AI-driven security detections include in-memory API vector analysis, encrypted sliver C2 protection, and single-query DNS tunnelling.
Strata Cloud Manager uses AI to unify SD-WAN, SASE, and NGFW operations. It offers easy transitions, stronger Zero Trust, centralised compliance, proactive operations, and AI technologies like AI Canvas and Strata Copilot for faster troubleshooting and better decision-making.
Consumer and Industry Support Customers and industry experts laud these new capabilities:
Pete Finalle, Research Manager on IDC's Security and Trust team, says multicloud environments, rapid AI adoption, and quantum readiness have caused security blind spots and uneven standards. He stressed Palo Alto Networks' “crypto agility” and scalable software firewalls with native microsegmentation and deployment automation to address these problems.
The NBA's Senior Manager of Hybrid Cloud Networking, Mehdi Lahrech, said Palo Alto Networks' unified platform helps them scale quickly, protect important assets, and stay ahead of new threats as their multicloud footprint increases.
Scott Moser, Sabre's Senior Vice President and CISO, said they need a partner with vision and execution to handle AI-driven threats, complex infrastructures, and quantum computing advances. Palo Alto Networks is their trusted cybersecurity partner.
