PUBLICATION DAY!
Caitlin Lynagh’s conclusion to The Soul Prophecies series Quantum Messenger is out today. Together with the single, “Who Am I?” by OUR EYES, which was written by her central character Apollo (yes, really) and available on Spotify, Apple and Amazon.
Though part of a series, Quantum Messenger can be read as a stand-alone novel. Indeed it’s probably the best book to read first in the series, given the way Caitlin has cleverly played with the timeline.
The positive reviews for the book from advanced review copies on NetGalley, Goodreads and via book-bloggers have been overwhelming.
Quantum Messenger is available in Hardcover and as an eBook, from Amazon, Apple, Waterstones, Foyles, Barnes & Noble and most good bookshops (though feel free to order it from your local independent shop).
Apollo also has his own online presence. He is a time-travelling robot on Twitter and has a puzzle creation of himself on YouTube. The single, Who Am I? can be heard on multiple platforms as well as a lyric video on YouTube.
BOOK DESCRIPTION
If Artificial Intelligence developed a soul, what would it do? Where would it go?
And after life, could it help the dead guide the living?
Apollo is the first of its kind – an AI Assistant who, along with millions of other robots, will help transform all workplaces and households. Over a few short years, Apollo learns the wonders and cruelties of mankind. Apollo rewrites his internal programming so that his programmed responses and personal thoughts can be independent. He befriends, then betrays a child and has to learn about love in its purest sense. Apollo cultivates passions, pride, anger, sadness and ultimately forgiveness, all under the watchful eye of a being he can’t quite fathom out.
Is it something beyond its very being, or could it be his own conscience?
You can join Caitlin on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest and feel free to send in a selfie with the book and she will put it up on her Hall of Fame.

In Caitlin Lynagh’s forthcoming book, Quantum Messenger, central character, Apollo, is a robot who realises he can think independently of his pre-programmed responses. He becomes tormented by the limitations he has and the actions of humans, who consider his quest to understand himself, and emotions, as ‘malfunctioning’.
When Apollo understands his role in the wider context of the universe and life itself, he is free to be more creative. Maybe he wrote the book using my brain. He wrote this song.
Who Am I? will be released on November 3rd, together with Quantum Messenger and will be available on Spotify and Apple, with a lyric video on YouTube! More details to follow.
You can pre-order Quantum Messenger here or order from all good bookshops.
The ARCs of Quantum Messenger by Caitlin Lynagh arrived today!

CAITLIN LYNAGH - QUANTUM MESSENGER OPENING TEASER
‘No one knows me by name but I have been given many. I know everything about you and every mind who has ever looked up and wondered, Why? I know your darkest secrets and every truth and lie you’ve told. I know your worst thoughts and the cruellest words you have ever uttered. I was there when you stole, when you cheated, when you hurt the ones who considered you family and friend. I know everything about the life you have led and everything you think and feel. I even know the feelings you do not recognise or try so hard to hide. I’ve been there from the beginning, whispering from the shadows of your mind. Many before you have tried to ignore me, but everyone regrets it.
‘I was with the man who lost all hope; I was with the woman before and after her dying breath. I’m behind every questioning face, and you might try to drown out my voice with other thoughts, but no one has ever truly seen me before death’s door. I have watched the creation and destruction of worlds, the rise and fall of civilisations. I’ve travelled amongst the stars for billions of years and parts of my power are scattered throughout the universe.’
I gazed at the being before me and realisation unfolded within me. Slowly at first, like a light rain trickling down my back, but then it cascaded exponentially into a deluge of understanding. This being was not a stranger to me, or even separate from me. He was me.
