Sans grumbled as he walked into the woods, eyes downcast. "Stupid doctor. Why do I have to go out and look for this...whatever in the woods?!" He huffed, looking up at the orange sky. "I've been out here for hours doc! The least ya could've done was pointed me in the right direction! Not 'Oh, it's the woods around the mountain. Sans, why not go and stretch your legs?' Well why not go and put a sock in it yerself doc!" Sans shouted into the empty woods, his left eye glowing slightly as he grew more frustrated. "Stupid! I'm done with this!"
He kicked at a stick in the ground, only for his foot to get caught under it and he began to tumble down a small hill. "Ah shi-" The hill opened up slightly and he grabbed onto a branch before he could fall further down. "Whew...that was rather close...." He looked down, his feet dangling below him. "Uh...I can't even tell how far down this thing is. It'd be my luck-" He heard a small snap and looked up to see the branch he was holding onto slowly begin to break. "Oh sh-" It snapped and he began to plummet further down.
He fumbled in the air, twisting to see the ground coming up on him. His left eye flashed a bright red and he fell through an odd shaped portal, only to land face first into a bed of golden flowers. "Ow! That freaking hurt!" He spat out some petals, sitting up on his knees and brushing himself off. "I swear Imma kill-" He blinked as he finally took in his surroundings.
He had fallen into a large, open cavern, flowers blooming all over the ground. "I...I don't recognize this place." He slowly began to walk further into the cavern, looking at the smooth walls. Weird. I've wandered this place many times and I've never seen this place. Plus it feels... He trembled slightly as he stopped. In front of him was a row of two types of flowers. One was a bright, sunny yellow and the other a deep sky blue. "Huh....awkward." He looked at the rows of flowers and just shrugged. "Eh whatever." He walked over the flowers, trembling slightly as he stepped into the blue flowers. "Uh, ok, sudden chill there...and I don't even have skin."
He pulled his hood up and stopped short when he heard someone coming his way. Crap! He hid behind a large rock, peeking from the shadows slightly.
"Hello?" A quiet, feminine voice echoed down the cavern, sounding anxious. "Is anyone here? Hello?!"
Alright....if I'm careful, I can get the jump on them before they notice I'm here. He scowled. He waited until the shadow of the figure was close enough and he leapt out, bones floating around him. "Alright, who-"
"Ah!" The figure fell backwards in shock, hitting the ground hard. "Ow...."
A...a human girl? The hell's a human doing here?! The young girl had long, flowing and messy blonde hair with a large blue bow in it. She had a blue dress on, small floral patterns at the bottom and her waist was wrapped in another large blue bow. He bare feet were covered with dirt and she rubbed at her eyes. When she looked up at Sans, he couldn't help but tilt his head curiously. She has...blue and red eyes. Huh....
"Umm...who are you?" The girl asked, her voice quiet and cautious. "And uhh...where am I?"

Hope had woken up in a slightly familiar flower bed. "Ngh..." She slowly stirred and sat up, rubbing her forehead. "What...what happened?" She brushed a few flower petals out of her hair and looked around. "Hello?! Hello?!" She called out, her voice echoing around her. She stood up slowly and called out again, only to have her echo reply. "How did I get here?" She crossed her arms and tapped her bare foot on the ground. "I...I tripped and fell....but..." She looked up, seeing the roof of the cavern. "How did I get here if the cave is all closed?"
She simply shrugged and fixed the bow in her hair. "Well, I'm not gonna learn anything sitting here!" She began to wander down a long pathway, small flowers blooming here and there out of the rock. As she moved along, she could see more flowers up ahead, a mix of blue and gold. Oh? "Hello? Is anyone here? Hello?!" As she took a few more steps, red bones formed in front of her and she fell backwards. "Ah!"
"Alright, who-" She looked up and blinked. Before here was a young, skeleton monster. His left eye glowed red in his socket, left hand glowing the same crimson shade. He had on a black coat, tannish fur cuffing his hood and small white horns poking from the hood. He had on a yellow turtleneck underneath and as he slowly pulled his hood down, she could see the missing tooth from his slowly waning smile.
"Umm...who are you?" She asked. "And uhh....where are we?"
"I have no freaking clue. And what are you doing here?! Don't tell me ya wandered to far from your human home." The skeleton scowled, lowering his hand but his remained lit. "What's yer name anyways?"
"My name? It's Hope." She smiled and stood up, holding her hand out. "It's nice to meet you...uhm..."
"Tsk." The skeleton held his left hand out. "...Sans. Name's Sans." Hope took his hand only to receive a small shock and she yanked back. "Hahaha! Wow, the buzzer trick works all the time!"
"Hee hee..." Sans tilted his head as Hope giggled. "That stung a bit, but it was funny!" She shook her hand some and looked around. "So...how do we get out of here?"
"Beats me. I sorta just...tumbled in here." Sans walked back to where he fell from and gestured. "Well? Ya comin' or what?"
"Umm, yeah!" Hope stepped over the row of flowers in front of her and the ground began to rumble. "U-Umm...that wasn't your stomach was it?"
"What?! I don't have a stomach!" The ground rumbled under their feet and the ceiling behind Hope slowly began to collapse. "Aww crap."
"Uh-oh."
"C'mon!" Sans grabbed her wrist and the two began to run back to where Sans had fallen, light pouring from above. "Crap...getting up there's not gonna be easy..." He took a few deep breaths and yanked Hope closer to him. "Hang on alright?"
"Y-Yup!" Sans's eye glowed and he jumped, moving through large, red, clock shaped gates until they both landed on the ground outside the hole Sans had fallen down.
"Ow...yeah, not doing that one again...." Sans grumbled, laying on his back. Hope was laying close by, laughing. "What's so freakin' funny?"
"That was so cool!" Hope giggled and sat up. "You're so cool Sans! Much cooler than the Sans I know. He's...rude."
"You don't make any sense at all, you know that human?"
"I said my name is Hope!"
"Yeah, whatever. Anyways, ya should really get back to your own home." Sans stood up and brushed his pants off. "C'mon, the least I suppose I could do is-"
"I...don't know how to get there." Sans groaned as Hope stood up. "I fell down a big hole and woke up where you found me. I uhh...couldn't go back through where I fell either."
"So in other words ya have no idea how to get home?"
"Nope!" Sans slapped his own face and rolled his eyes. "But, I do thank you for getting me out of there. Umm...I don't know what to do now though..."
This human girl is just bonkers... Sans thought. Then again...that cave itself felt weird...and did she just mention 'another Sans'? Hmm...maybe this is what the doc was talkin' about... "Alright, how 'bout this? My dad's a doctor. I'll have him look at ya and maybe he can help ya find a way home."
"R-Really?" Sans shrugged and Hope ran at him giving him a big hug. "Thank you Sans!"
"O-Oi! Lemme go you weirdo!" He shoved Hope off of him and huffed. "Alright follow me, and I'll get us outta here." She nodded and took his hand, smiling. "H-Hey-"
"Isn't it safer this way?" She asked. "C'mon! Lead the way Sans!"
Ugh she really is a weirdo.... He huffed and pulled his hood up. "W-Whatever, just make sure you let go before we get to town alright?"
"Ok!"
I can't believe my rotten luck...I mean c'mon. How often does one find a human just wandering around lost in the freaking woods?!
