I bought this book to help promote my novel, Ages of Entanglement, whose plot employs quantum entanglement. It was on display at a book fair I attended before the pandemic. Well, perhaps its time for a short review of Quantum Entanglement for Babies. This fun little book explains in very simple terms what quantum entanglement means. It may lack a little in explaining exactly how it happens, but I dare say many college physics book might fall short there as well. It follows logic similar to the famous Schrödinger’s cat example to explain the effect of observation in quantum mechanics, except here a ball is used instead of an undead cat. That choice is probably less traumatic for the children. The title might be a little misleading as it would probably be better suited for kids older than babies...although babies might just like being read to and looking at the pictures. I just find it extremely humorous that this book exists at all! So hats off to the author @drchrisferrie Oh, and you don’t need to understand Quantum Entanglement to read Ages of Entanglement! I’m not sure if I truly do...but it is a fascinating and strange topic. #quantumentanglementforbabies #quantumentanglement #agesofentanglement #stem https://www.instagram.com/p/CQeyLnrl5SD/?utm_medium=tumblr
