Ok so the quarterback at my high school is named Quaide and he’s the #1 high school quarterback in Florida. The club I’m in (wphs) started to make this joke about him where whenever anyone said Quaide, we would all dart our heads around and shout Quaide. Well the joke started to get around school, with mixed reaction (mostly negative from the rest of the football team). As the shitheads that we are, we decided to escalate the joke. We got a giant picture of Quaides head and attached it to a stick. Then we’d take the Quaide head to every pep rally and major event at the school (we run all of the audio/visuals for everything) and swing it around and scream Quaides name whenever there was cheering or clapping. Again, mixed reactions. At one point we were even accused of worshiping him as a cult. Just when things started to look dark, it took a turn. We all went a football game one night, and saw that other kids had made their own Quaide heads. And then they stated chanting his name. Quaide became a star at our school. He even got voted Homecoming King. We made a meme out of a fucking man.
