like i thought i was going to dislike it. like... a book... about a fangirl...?? i mean... i'm not gonna lie, when i read the back, i thought it looked a little bit preachy, like about telling fangirls to grow up and move on and that was a very painful message that i totally misinterpreted. it's just a story! about a girl who really likes a certain book series and is learning how to define herself and to expand her comfort zone--so, still loving the book series, but reaching out and not letting herself grow stagnant and learning how to take care of herself and others, i mean... it was great. i love it. i love it a lot. i like all the characters, even the villain tbh, although them mainly because they're so unexpectedly human.
