M doesn’t react as expected. Instead of being surprised, they brighten visibly and coo at the MC, reaching out to hold the four baby outfits sewn together. In M's culture, having multiple children at once is common, which is why they are more surprised by their other partners' reactions.

S nearly faints, while B can't decide whether to keep supporting the assassin's weight or to freak out. Freaking out could mean either fainting as well or squeezing MC with affection. The baker settles for a bit of both. M is forced to release the baby outfits and lift both of their partners off the floor.

S: "I'd use you as bait if you became a worm."

"What—?!"

"What else would I do?! You'd be a worm!"

M: They stared at you blankly. You could almost see the gears turning in their head as they processed your words. Silently, M digs beneath their cloak and holds out dirt with a few wiggly worms in their palm.

"Keep. Pocket," they say while extending the hand towards you. At least the worms look fat and healthy.

B: They've been asked this question before by former partners, so their reply is automatic and accompanied by a light laugh. "Of course I would. You'd be my worm." B cheekily adds, "You'd have to watch out for your mouse even as a worm though. I'm not keeping that thing."

Quad poly: M remains silent as their two partners argue over your fate if you became a worm. They stand beside you as B defends the idea of loving you even if you were a worm, while S refuses to show that much affection for a worm.

"It's still the MC-!"

"—they would be a worm!"

"And??"

"I bet Erica will win," Dawn mumbled through a mouthful of popcorn, her hand delving into the bowl the MC held between them as they watched the scuffle. The small girl snickered as M threw the baker over their shoulder with one hand while pressing the other against Erica's face, who was attempting to claw at them while S pulled at her hair with their gauntlets.

"I don't know... M seems to be handling it," the MC commented. However, as soon as they spoke, Erica lunged past the hand that held her still and jumped onto M's shoulder, where B was slung over. Startled by the turn of events, Dawn laughed loudly as they all tumbled to the ground, her baba looking irritated as if they were a wolf dealing with unruly pups. She watched as M struggled for a moment before deciding to just lay there, while B screeched when Erica grabbed a fistful of their hair. S's loud voice broke through the baker's shout as they all wrestled.

"Someone should do something about that..." Dawn said, picking a popcorn kernel out of her teeth.

"Yeah... want some more popcorn?"

"I did date Erica, but it was only for a week."

There's a long, awkward pause in the MC's bedroom. S's mind comes to a halt as they stare blankly at the baker, their lips parting and their left eye twitching slightly. They don't notice M gently sliding an arm around their waist, and the way the MC cringes visibly. "Erica," S echoed.

"It was barely a week. We both decided to terminate things," B swiftly adds. The assassin almost laughs—not angry, just somewhat irritated, but not as much as they could have been. S scratches the side of their jaw and snorts, shaking their head and gazing down. "You must've fallen from grace to be with her of all people."

"You're not... upset?" B questions gently, reaching out and grasping the assassins free hand in their own in a tender gesture. S kept their head angled away, their face darkening with color as they pursed their lips.

"Darlin', it was ages ago, and besides... now I get why Erica especially likes to irritate you."

"Oh, she's the bane of my existence—"

M looked at the cake handed to them and their partners for an extended period of time, their expressions blank. What they observed on the cake was a vivid and obscene picture of a lady holding a phallic-shaped object with pride. S was yelling next to them, and the MC was totally dumbfounded. M, on the other hand, was more intrigued than anything. They reached out and grabbed the sides of the cake, gradually turning it toward B as they spoke. "Is this... an invitation?" M could see B's face pale several shades before rapidly turning as red as a rose.

"Oh, for the love of the goddesses—no! It's not the right cake! Another one is out there—" B scrambles to grab the cake on the countertop, but S is already reaching over to pull it from their grasp. "It's perfect! Oh, let me see that—!" There's a bit of a tug-of-war before M decides they don't want to spend the next few minutes listening them argue. They exchange glances with the MC, who returns the gesture. Taking it as a sign, M approaches and grabs the cheeky cake, keeping it out of everyone's reach. They give a nod. "Make another. This one is kept. I'm going to eat this…now.”
