old draft from june 12th - people like to downplay certain character relationships to make their favored more impactful and like i understand it but its good to acknowledge how it reflects a character; qjuan and qash, even though their interactions were limited, cared for each other and shared a deep fondness . I think it came from a mutual understanding of the burden of keeping everything together for their respective groups and it made them both respect and understand the other; the stresses and worries . Its confusing and strange to the other islanders but ewron and tina have a kind relationship and care for each other; have defended the other repeatedly and shared secrets they maybe weren't supposed to. It was a throwaway line but ewron saying he won't tell tina everything (for now at least) because she'd see a monster in him .
