i like to believe that in an alternate universe, in the end, when everyone finally got all the materials to build the plane and were about to leave the island, q!slimecicle stayed back and refused to go. everyone would be yelling at him to leave because the codes would destroy everything and q!slimecicle would say that he wont leave juanaflippa. if juanaflippa stays, then i will too. at the surface it would seem that he simply refused to believe that codeflippa wasnt actually juanaflippa, but deep down its just that he desperately clings onto that hope that juanaflippa isnt dead, and thus desperately clings onto what could be his daughter, though he knows - that she isnt really her. q!slimecicle deludes himself into belief - he is simply just a man in grief.

but - to make things a little more sad - i'd say that in the end the code infection would have taken over him almost completely, its actually NOT q!slimecicle thats refusing to leave. its q!codecicle. the code is MAKING him say that he wont leave - so its codecicle whos saying it. but underneath, q!slimecicle is begging for release. he knows juanaflippa is dead, he knows it all too well. he doesnt want to keep believing that she's alive, it brings him so much pain. after so much denial, he just wants to let go. but now the code has him in chains, codeflippa has him in chains. he's being controlled say words he doesn't believe. words he doesnt believe anymore.
