The second week goes by and you see him less and less – you’ve met Ziyang by now and since Yue Yue is feeling better, they go back to business. Didi is the only one you are able to meet and ask you regularly ask him how everyone is doing, but the third week after meeting them goes by in what feels like seconds – it’s the most busy week of exam period and the time you are not spending locked up in the library or in a classroom, you spend at home, asleep. On Friday you surprisingly run into Ling Chao, who looks more tired than ever. “Are you okay?” You ask with a smile. He looks down to you and rests his head on your shoulder. “I’m so tired.” He complains softly. “I know. Me too.” You smile and ruffle his soft hair. “Can we go out tonight? There is a club super close to our house and you could sleep at our place. Just relax a bit.. Please?” he whines and you hesitate for a second, but the possibility of meeting Yue Yue is tempting. You think of him a lot and try to write it off as worry because of his injuries.  “Okay. ” You agree and the two of you decide to meet early at the mansion – you agree to take the bus at 4 pm to the city – so you won’t have to go there in the dark. You are wearing tight black ripped skinny jeans and a black crop top – something you would usually avoid wearing – and paired the entire thing with black vans. When you knock on the door of the mansion you are greeted by a black haired giant. The scary look on his face changes to one of delight when he recognizes your face. Due to the fact that you helped his friend regain his health, the gentle giant has welcomed you to the group with open arms. “Y/N!” he ushers you inside and hugs you as soon as the door is closed behind you. “We missed you!” he exclaims and you giggle and hold him tight. “Who is we?” you ask and turn your head immediately; when you hear the stairs squeak. “Yue Yue.” You gasp and look at the man whose gaze is stuck on your face. He walks down the stairs with a confidence that demands your attention. “Why are you wearing stuff like that?” His voice is cold as he walks closer. Before you are able to reply, Didi runs towards you and throws his long arms around your neck. “We are going out to party this evening!” He is glowing with joy and you just smile up to him lovingly. Throughout the time you spent together, the two of you grew very close, to the point where he feels like a brother to you. “Like this?” Yue Yue sounds so upset and you turn to him to figure out what’s wrong when Didi pulls you away from them. “Let’s bring you stuff to your room and grab something to eat before we go to the club!”

You usually enjoy your work. The company you’re employed in is small and family owned and it feels so much like being at home when you’re at work because of the good relationship you have with your colleagues. But yesterday, you made a mistake and today your perfectionist self makes you self-conscious. Despite your boss telling you that it was not your fault and that mistakes happen, your own high standards for yourself are now making you hesitant to go to work – something your boyfriend immediately senses.

“What’s wrong?” The tall, warm figure next to you asks when you hit the snooze button another time. You have flexible work hours and still a lot of overtime left, so being late to work is not, what he’s worried about – it’s the fact that you don’t jump out of bed, full of energy, getting ready to work. “Nothing.” You murmur, turning over and burying your face in the crook of his neck. His chest raises itself in a sigh as he soothingly runs his hand through your hair. “I know that something’s wrong Y/N.” He carefully pushes you away, just enough to be able to raise your face by the chin and look at you. There are still lines on his face from his pillow. “Fine. I messed up yesterday and now my head is being. .  Annoying.” Yue Yue knows exactly what you mean because sometimes, he feels the same – not being able to learn the choreography perfectly or know the song by heart annoyed him to no end. A small smile spreads across his face as he soothingly presses a small kiss to your nose, which you crinkle in response. “And since when is that stopping yourself? You are so much stronger than that bad feeling.” His words make your heart flutter and you wrap a leg over his. “I don’t want to, today. I just want to stay with you.  You told me you don’t have to be at the company until 10 or so, which means we still have another four hours to cuddle.” Your boyfriend laughs a hearty laugh and wraps his arms around you. “Okay, okay. I would be lying if I said that that doesn’t sound like a good plan.” He let himself fall onto his back and pulled you with him. You are now resting your left cheek on his naked chest; his right arm is wrapped around you, holding onto the fabric of the shirt you are wearing – his shirt. You brush your right hand over his stomach, down to the waistband of his sweats and then back up, reaching for the biceps of his left arm. His left hand is tucked beneath his head, revealing his beautiful tattoos. You run your fingers over them. The two of you stay in bed, cuddling in silence until his stomach grumbles quietly, making you giggle and look up at his face. His eyes are closed, relaxed and the corners of his soft lips are turned up. “I guess we need to stand up.” You say, sitting up in bed. Yue Yue whines a bit but sits up as well, running his hand through his own hair, removing the hair tie that ties them together at the back of his head. “Your hair is a mess.” You remark with a smirk on your face. “If I were you, I wouldn’t be talking.” Your boyfriend replies with a cheeky smile and you can only imagine the way your hair must look like, after he ran his hand through it all morning.  You stick your tongue out and stand up, stretching your hands above your head, revealing the curve of your butt. You hear Yue Yue murmur “How did I get so freaking lucky” behind you and turn around to face him. He is looking at you in awe, a small smile on his face. You walk over to him and straddle his lap, kissing him softly on his lips. “I love you.” You whisper against the skin of his cheek as you kiss him.  He replies with a satisfied sigh and a quiet “I love you, too.”  A smile stretches across your face. “But you need to get ready and I need to eat.” He pokes the side of your stomach, making you giggle and jump off his lap. “You’re mean!” you whine and he just stands up in all his shirtless glory. He ties his messy hair back to get it out of his face and walks towards the door of your bedroom. “Stop staring.” He says with a smirk and turns to you, catching you in the act. “Okay, okay. I’ll take a shower.” You walk after him and as you enter the bathroom, he turns to you. “Pancakes?” You nod eagerly and purse your lips. He leans forward, kisses your lips and turns to make breakfast. You enter the bathroom and look into the mirror, laughing at the mess that you call hair and start brushing it carefully, humming to the melody of “antidote” by BC221 and dancing in the shower, belting out the lines your boyfriend sings.
