Day 5 of telling you what random shizz is in my notes:
Sometimes if you go on vacation you might end up coming home to find a villain in your newly renovated house who is legally married to you.
divorce process is very fast. Some people visit just for that.
May as well improve shitty school systems, am I right?
Gene decides they need fucking therapy (why do they have such extreme trust issues??) and a functional adult
And no, the leader boy who ate the brain DOES NOT count
So I'm working on a queer movie night.
The first instance will probably include the following movies:
Imagine Me & You
But I'm a Cheerleader
Bend It Like Beckham (Yes, it is a queer movie; it totally is. Go back and watch it again.)
I need to watch The Closet again so I can decide whether it qualifies for the next movie night; I suspect it might have been visited by the Suck Fairy sometime in the last fourteen years. (EDIT: I also need to consider whether Saved! also qualifies because of the ending. Definitely another ehhhhhhh-dge case.)
But this makes me realize that I don't know a ton of queer-friendly movies—here defined as:
1) Having two or more (openly) bi, gay, trans, poly, ace, or otherwise queer characters who 2) survive the movie and 3) get relatively happy endings, 4) possibly together.
So what's your favorite queer-friendly movie, Tumblr? Help me show my friends a fun (and representative) time.
