⇨   His head spins, literally rotates 360 degrees about two and a half times as he laughs.   “ * HAHEAHEHEHEA !  WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I’M ALWAYS AWAKE FOR THAT SWEET SWEET [ business ] YOU WANT A DEAL? [ you got it ] ANY TIME. ANY HOUR. THAT’S THE SPAMTON G. GAURANTEE [ baby ] ! ”

He places both hands on his hips and leans in very close to their side. His eyes go black. “ * I HAVEN’T SLEPT IN [ 7 days, 6 hours, and 28 minutes. ] ”   His mouth doesn’t move as he tells them this, but he promptly laughs again 

Perhaps he should reevaluate why the horrified looks on their faces sends a morbid thrill down his spine , electric volts that tantalizes his brain. Should he be enjoying this ? There is a part of him that remarks they were only doing the job they were hired to do, but there isn't a chance for closer inspection as the residents flee , not even bothering to take their belongings. 

Finally!

All that damn construction, whirring and demolition , yet somehow he was the unwanted disturbance. With a single throw, he had sent their hammer flying across the room , embedding into the drywall with a satisfying crack.

He was tired of it all , the constant noise amplifying the throbbing in his skull. — And still , even one construction crew less, Emil could not hear the silence he so craved. With the thin walls of the apartment he could make out the buzz of tumbling laundry beneath his feat , the bang of rock music above, and perhaps what tried his patience the most was the arguing of a couple nearby. 

It is like a dam is broken ; once he began he could not stop. It starts with the construction crew , and ends with the couple , each apartment thoroughly driven to fear — scratches grooved into the walls , doors ripped off their hinges — if it could break it would be shattered beneath the heavy weight of his fury.

It occurs to him one day that he has yet to break one thing , the people. It is a dark thought , he knows , but that desire stirs. 

Her light was dimmer, yet not gone.     It was never an end, but a beginning.
