Face Off: Troll Bridge (season 8, episode 6)
Challenge: The concept of this challenge is to take the classic “troll under the bridge” character, but reinvent it based on specific, famous real-world bridges. The reinvented troll has to fit with the selected bridge, its aesthetic, architecture, culture.

Ben learned that during summer a lot of kids play by this bridge and swim under it, so he went for a troll that passes off as a regular young girl... until you get too close an she reveals her troll face.Â

Given Amsterdam was a big fishing city, Darla decided to make her troll sea-theme, imagining him as a monster harassing the local fishermen.Â

One of the most unusual bridges in Amsterdam as it’s red snake-like shape connects Sporenburg and Borneo Island. It's built in 2001 and has won the International Footbridge Award in 2002. This bridge spans the 93-meter wide water of the rail-road basin, underneath which the Piet Heijn tunnel is located. The highest point of the bridge is about 10 meter above the surface. Standing on top allows visitors a remarkable view of the surrounding area.
I really love to climb the bridge early in the morning myself as well, just around sunrise so I can catch the first light of day.
