dad is screaming at Alcina that it's her fault for acting as if her home and family were better and over the Heisenbergs

Alcina is yelling that they ARE better, they have class and decorum where she has seen your feral ass riding on the back of varcolacs and screaming like crazy

at some point, they start talking about who's the best parent and by extension, who has the better children

your dad puffs with pride telling her how many languages you know

Alcina counter attacks with how well versed in music her daughters are

Heisenberg says you are an amazing welder

Dimitrescu raises her voice and talks about the body count her girls have

it goes on an on, both adults raising their voices

in the back, you and your cousins are like

-distant sobbing sounds-

He can see you from the kitchen's window, Mia and Ethan had come to visit and see how well you both were adapting to this new life, you are talking a mile per hour, holding Rose in your arms and laughing when the baby squeals with delight at something you said

Heisenberg never saw you as a baby but he was there when you were nothing more than a tiny 4-year-old, clinging to his coat and whining whenever you wanted your dad to pick you up

it's funny how certain things never changer, you still hold onto his lab coat whenever you are anxious

some nights he wakes up scared and desperate, running to your bedroom and find you half hanging out of the elevated bed, sighing softly when he hears you snore or complain about the light hitting your face

how long has it been since he had to give you your meds? your cadou seems more stable and haven't backfire during practices

Karl remembers with joy how the doctor would comment on your development and the way your teachers mentioned how far ahead you were in certain topics

he has found you many days watching the tv, awestruck eyes as some cartoon plays and you stuff your face with fries, and he sees that kid that used to sit on his desk and eat berries while staring at him like Heisenberg was the sun

you still stuck your tongue out when you are concentrated and will keep it like that even when he calls out for you

you have developed new interests and things that bring you happiness, screaming in joy whenever he asks about what you are doing and sharing this new side of you

Heisenberg is fascinated that you finally get to be a kid, a bit too late, but you are finally allowed to be free

he doesn't hear Ethan come in, but he feels the reassuring hand on his shoulder, giving him a soft smile as he looks outside too

it seems Bubbles is jealous of Rose and is trying to get back your attention, honking and making the baby laugh at the sound

So I present: pyro kid going to the aquarium ( supervised by agents) and is legit so amazed by the colorful fish. The only fish he ever saw where the ones moreau caught and showed him. He misses his uncle and wishes he could see these fish...

Like " how do they even make fish in these colors!!" " those are tropical fish they are born like that" " that squiggly one at the bottom is weird" " that's an octopus " " its weird and squiggly and I like the cut of its jib!!"

you can see your dad from the door of his new lab, barking orders at all the engineers and technicians under his orders, he says he hates working for the BSAA but he seems more lively, happy and busting with new found passion

Y/N: Chris said I can go out on my "own" and...I wanted to know if you are ok with it?

Karl: how come you get to roam and break havoc outside and I'm trapped here?

your father laughs, making his staff look at him a bit taken aback by the sound, but he nods anyway, casting a glance at the 2 agents waiting for you

he bids you goodbye and reminds you to take pictures of everything

you had chosen the aquarium weeks ago, the memory of your uncle still heavy on you, of the days you spent fishing in the river with him, his books about the terrible sea dragons...you wish he was here to go with you

the ride is quiet and uneventful, Lisa, one of the agents keeps giggling when you poke your head between the seats and ask about something you saw, asking them to show you how to use some feature on your phone

Melvin? that prick...hes the other agent and he laughs when you loudly gasp at the entrance of the aquarium, the bright colors and the speakers announcing something about a...penguin show?

you have to pull him and wildly point at the ticket booth, attracting the attention of many people, but making the agents chuckle and make you wait while they buy the tickets, waving at you to follow

Melvin as to grab the back of your jacket and remind you of the rules, stay close where they can see you if they lose track of you and call you, you answer. more importantly...no talking with suspicious individuals

he wants for you to nod and then, you are free, almost bolting to the exhibitions, looking at everything with a awestruck face

Y/N: Lis...LIS...what in the heck is that...

Lisa: oooh! that's an otter, see? there's a plaque with all the information about them

Y/N: sea otter...so there's other kinds?

Melvin: the river ones, both are cute but I think these guys are bigger

for a moment Lisa worries you might end up running out of battery or memory by how many pictures you take

she's all but happy to take you to the otter show, sneakily taking a picture of you getting a kiss from an otter and send it to Heisenberg

for Melvin is too taxing having to grab your hand and let you pull him everywhere, excitedly babbling about your favorite exhibitions so far, how scary the deep sea creatures look...

then you stop, blankly staring at a river fish tank, Lisa is the one who sees your eyes fill with tears

Lisa: is something wrong Y/N?

Y/N:...those carps...uncle Moreau and I...i was six when he took me to fish for the first time, he was so proud of me when I showed him what caught...it was a young carp nothing big...but he was so proud

Melvin is there in a second, giving you a slight pat on your head and asking "Which area of the aquarium would have been your uncle's favorite"

and the babbling resumes, pointing at the possibility of him LOVING the tropical fish or the penguins...he would have been so happy to see everything!

when the time to leave comes, you are so tired, firmly clutching an otter and shark plush, and a bag with so many trinkets Lisa can't help but shake her head on what kind of stuff you used your allowance

the ride back is only interrupted by the need to buy something to eat, both agents see you tiredly munch on some fries, battling to stay awake

all your energy seems to come back when you are back with your dad, quickly rambling about everything you say, all the things you learned, how he has to go with you next time!

the man laughs when you see the picture of your "first kiss" with the other placed on the fridge

ok, I wanna think that the goose incident happened when they live free so....

he was pissed at your little trick with the wild geese and ducks you released in the lab, but hes even angrier when you dare to try and keep a goose

Karl: No! absolutely no, Y/N. We are not keeping that murder bird with us!

Y/N: but this one looks so cute and fluffy! and it gives the same vibes as the lycans

Karl: what does that even means?! I DONT CARE, NO IS NO!

Y/N: but I already name it, his name is Bubbles~ and according to the old laws of "if I name it its mine" bunker belongs to me now!

it's a complete fight between you two, he refuses to let you keep the goose and you refuse to put it back where you found it

carrying the bird with you into your home, where your dad starts another argument over not wanting the beast inside where it can destroy everything

he says he doesn't want the goose in the house, so he spends his afternoons making an area for...Bubbles, outside

he says he HATES that Godforsaken bird, yet! he drives you every month to buy more food and other necessities, taking you and Bubbles to the vet

"I don't want that bird near me!" he says as he feeds Bubbles and pets it

Heisenberg is always alert, noticing the small details about everything his girl does, she's almost 18, it's natural for her to grow...curious and want to explore, be her own person

he acts like he doesn't notice how often one of the engineers stares at you or how you will suddenly disappear and be found where said engineer usually works

you are suddenly very happy and smiling, the way you blush when the engineer turns to look at you, or the small gifts that you two exchange

he's happy that you found someone that sees YOU and not what you are capable of

It's a bit awkward to try and have "THE TALK" with you, he spent hours researching online to learn everything he needs to tell you, he's just worried, ok?

one of his assistants laughs a bit when you leave the room flustered and screaming that your dad is embarrassing, stopping beside the man to pat his shoulder and offer some single father sympathy

Heisenberg will be intimidating as fuck when talking to his underling, leaving it clear that he won't accept any trickery or disrespect, if you get hurt he will make it hurt even worst

this poor man CHOKED! when be learned that his sweet little baby Nina had a preschool boyfriend!

HOW!? WHEN!? HOW DARE THIS KID SHARE HIS SNACKS AND CALL YOU HIS GIRLFRIEND?

his team all try so hard not to laugh when Heisenberg squats in front of Nina and the little girl has the guts to put her hands on her hips and tell him off!

it's a battle to be able to tell Nina that he knows she's young and feeling love for the first time m that he wants to know the...boy

a playdate is set, he couldn't care any less about the kid's mother trying to get up on his personal space, he's more concerned over the interactions between both kids

it takes him time to accept the situation and coming to terms with everything

by the time he does? Nina nonchalantly announces that her little boyfriend left her for another girl who shared her crayons with him

wheeze this hits like...we all know Heisenberg gonna either lose it with everything going on around him or try to see the entire park in ONE day

the trip was planned a long time ago, all that Mia and Ethan have been waiting for is for both Heisenberg and his Pyrokinetic child to get the green light from the psychology and psychiatric department, this was a celebratory trip!

of course, Chris insisted on sending enough agents to keep both families safe and the clear warning of "NO POWERS" under any circumstance

Mia is not sure who she needs to kiddie leash, Rose or the 2 Heisenbergs

she gets you to carry Rose most of the time, as a way to keep you close and from running off, Ethan is on Karl watching duty

GET READY TO FORCE HEISENDAD TO TAKE PICTURES WITH THE PRINCESSES AND CAST

Karl doesn't get why you and Ethan are doubled in laughter when Mia insists on going to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, Ethan keeps saying you already have Captain Jack Sparrow with you

Pyrokid will try to go to any attraction with Snow White or the Little Mermaid, cuz those were of Moreau's favorite movies

Heisenberg loved the Haunted Mansion the most, he kept laughing and saying "It's like being back in the Castle but Ethan ain't destroying everything!"

Karl is hellbent on ridding everything that looks extreme or fun, but not that interested in the food...for now!

Ethan, as to explain why you do, can't survive on churros, it's too much sugar and he doesn't want to deal with a toddler, a teen, and one adult being high on sugar

Heisenberg, even now, smokes a lot so this is a test of will for him not to bust out a cigar and do whatever he wants, this is the moment he realized that he might have a small smoking problem...MAYBE

once again Mia has to herd and remind everyone to eat something and keep your dumb selves hydrated

she's the one that reminds you all that you will be staying another couple of days, there's literally, no need to try and boss rush the entire park

Ethan loses it cuz Karl is the kind of person that thinks "Sunscreen? I don't need that!" and now he's paying for his hubris in the form of sunburned arms

you managed to get your dad to buy you every piece of merchandise you asked for, he remembers 2 days after that...you have your own money

Rose is just having a blast cuz she's with her favorite uncle and cousin

who gave you the right to come to my house and make me sob in front of my enchiladas de mole?

everything flashes before his eyes, every day he spent with you, every laugh and fight, every time you came crying because you hurt yourself, every "dad" you said

he looks with horror when Miranda snatches you away from Chris, her smile of victory at Heisenberg's look of defeat and complete horror

he promised she would never take ANYTHING from him, that includes you, he swore to himself to take you out to never let anyone hurt you again

Karl's heart sinks when Miranda chuckles and keeps you pressed against her, her words cutting deep into him "Look at your dad, Y/N...look at his traitorous face, he can't win on his own and he can't save you"

he's fixated where he stands, and everything moves too slow for him, Ethan tries to shoot Miranda down, what remains of the soldats and lycans lunge for her and even Chris begins to attack

but nothing seems to touch her, everyone is too scared of hurting YOU

then she does it, her talon-like hands rip your heart out as she did with Ethan and the last thing Heisenberg hears is you, calling for him, out of fear, surprise, desperation

everything is such a blur for him, he can't hear himself scream in a metallic screech, not feel when he transforms to attack Miranda with everything he has left, he's blinded by rage and hatred towards her...towards himself

Chris has to throw him over his shoulder and run for their lives when they activate the bomb, Karl trashed and fought with whatever remained if his energy to go back

because YOU were there...his baby...his Y/N, he had to go and get you, what kind of father abandons his baby like that!?...

he has to go back...because you are just injured...right?

[to the tune of 2 trucks] TWO DADS HANGING OUT, TWO DADS HANGING OUT!!

it's an every Friday tradition for Heisenberg and Winters to get together and have a drink at each other houses

it began as part of Karl's therapy, to adjust to the new world and to find comfort in a familiar face, to learn how to form bonds and become less socially awkward (work in progress)

Ethan was a bit taken aback when Karl reached out for him, the man was still in the hospital, and Winters was in physical therapy trying to get a hang around the new prosthetic

but slowly both fell on a routine of watching tv, drinking together on the porch, and ask each other about their lives, creating a sense of security

Mia was elated when her husband introduced her to the Heisenbergs, feeling a bit of pity for you and the way your father lived, quickly making sure both families felt comfortable in either house or setting

she's especially happy to see how well Rose takes to you two, jokingly telling Karl to get ready to be an uncle for her little girl

neither Mia nor you get near the porch when both men are talking, aware that those are their special moments and something that brings them comfort

you have heard them talk tho, about how much Ethan struggles with his prosthetic and training with Chris, your dad talking trash about some incompetent engineer, his both are scared of losing his kids due to their powers

Ethan knows Rose is invaluable and eventually, someone could try to take her away like Miranda did, Karl worries for the same thing to happen to you, he has seen you melt materials designed to never melt

Mia is aware that sometimes Ethan wakes up scared that he's back in the Village and calls Heisenberg to have someone remind him that Miranda is no more and everyone is safe

Karl does the same, on the nights when he wakes up sweaty to check on you, he calls Ethan and pours his fears and anxieties to the man

both you and Mia work hard to plan family vacations and nights out, it's fun to see your old man faced with new situations, he will never admit it out loud, but he enjoyed the night Mia insisted on going to the opera
