Wacker to increase prices for silicones, pyrogenic silica

Wacker Chemie AG said that it is increasing its prices for silicone polymers, silicone fluids and silicones from downstream production stages, effective November 1.

Wacker’s pyrogenic silica HDK will also be affected. Depending on product family, region and business field, the price increase will range up to 25 percent, if permitted by existing customer contracts. This measure is necessitated by rising production expenses due to increasing raw material and energy costs.

These price adjustments ensure that the Wacker Silicones business division continues to provide outstanding service and technical support along with consistently high product quality and technological innovations for its customers.
