The Busan native wasn’t used to hear doubts be ventured on his capacities. He was one confident man, proud and discreet. Would he offer doing something, knowing he would fail? Was he stupid? Surely not. The young female’s question thus felt quite offending. And would Jihu display this slight annoyance he’s feeling bubbling up within his chest? Hell, yes. Unlike any positive feeling, the aquarium’s employee had no issue expressing anger nor annoyance. The boy stopped in his tracks, the dark hues of his brown eyes finding hers. « Listen, kiddo, » the Busan native started, emphasizing the kiddo part. « You need help and I happened to be in the neighbourhood. Are you going to let me, your only friend awake at this hour of the night, do what you’ve called me for, what I’ve so kindly accepted on doing, or d’you wanna stare at my ass while I walk outta here? »
It wasn’t usual for something like this to happen, she was fairly careful as she never wished to end up in a situation like this. She was ashamed but as she had just started attending the said college, the amount of friends she had were limited this meaning she barely had anyone to call in times of need like these. Upon going through her phone his name had been on the top and she assumed it was okay to try, to her surprise he was willing to come over and help her out, whether he had really been in the neighborhood or not, she wasn’t sure. He’d taken a huge offense to her words, though he shouldn’t have, she simply wasn’t sure he would be fine with looking at something like this, after all many found her to be disturbing as she was already, let stand once blood was involved.
Minutes before, she had accidentally set her foot wrong causing her knee to bend in an unnatural way and one of her protheses to unlock and scrape along her skin as well as one of the protheses to break. She was left seated on the floor, unable to move as walking using only one of her legs would result in something horrible. She’d failed to call her nurse after apparently having saved the wrong number, perhaps she typo’d it upon adding it to her phone, who knew, even if, it was the middle of the night and who knew whether the said nurse was asleep already.
‘I didnt meant that.’ She responded, hoping he wouldn’t actually end up leaving. ‘Can you at least help me up?’ she asked, extending a hand for him to hopefully take. She didn’t need much help, just to get home, she could find a way to clean the wound by herself, but without any money on her and a broken prothese, the way home would be a terrible one if she didn’t have any help.
