❝ violence for violence is the rule of beasts. ❞ ( for pymtron )
Involving them in an attack on Baron Zemo’s latest little cult of followers was a waste. Ultron, as he was named in ‘costume’ was not thrilled. Still they followed orders, sticking to the plan. When Ultron and the Captain found and confronted Zemo, this is where things differed from the plan.
Ultron launched forward, seizing the ‘Baron’ by the throat and lifting him off the ground. Captain Roger’s protests came just moments before he permanently crippled the terrorist.
The Ultron face plate pulled away, revealing Hank’s face. They had learned that the Avengers found it marginally easier to talk to what they saw as less threatening. “What you perceive as violence is to us efficiency. He will continue to be a threat. Continue to oppose peace and order.” Looking back to Zemo, Hank frowned. “We will not kill him. That would make us no better than he is, and make him a martyr. No, we will cripple him, remove the capacity for speech and movement. Such a broken thing can be no threat.”
