Some of my very first pylons. Now I can sketch them much faster, but I remember how long this one took me.
Once I start posting about my cult related project (aka a completely different thing from this one) you will see an infrastructure appreciation in all it's glory. Lot's and lot's of pylons. I don't know what's to special about transmission towers, I just find them neat

This was taken on an overcast, warm and humid day with light conditions that left a lot to be desired. Rendering these two images in black and white somehow seemed to feel right when it came to trying to convey the mood of the day.
A mood which was strangely tense…
