And boy I forgot how much and why I loved them! I mean when Lydia stated she always falls for the bad ones and went on a no bad boy kick…I started salivating for it even more. What a challenge.

I always felt that Lydia was went for the reckless life. The edges of danger. She’s a banshee as literally dances with death…it always made sense for me for her to be that kind of person who also flirted with those ruff edges. So someone like Peter always made sense. They have these highly dark components (manipulation/ control / fear) but that’s what makes them interesting to me, what would’ve made their journey a great ride. I mean I thought it really ridiculous so then to have Malia have the power to call to Peter cause she’s his daughter (who he’s never cared about) instead of Lydia who he’s had an obvious connection to. The same person whose powers he helped open and the same person he used to bring himself back to life.

And Peter! Ugh he was so interesting when it came to Lydia he would have these lines when it came to her that just made the concept fascinating. Peter has this love for power and he finds power in Lydia Martin. He’s sparked that power in her serval times.

I used to want them to make a serious go for that relationship. And I don’t mean some ohh she made him a good guy trend. No! I wanted real, raw, connection. This is you and this is me and even though this is a route I shouldn’t take…I find myself taking it anyway. I wanted Peter to keep his borderline antics because even though they give Lydia the good girl treatment now the truth is Lydia wasn’t/isn’t. She toes the line of that side. I def would’ve liked to see them be each others brink. I would’ve liked to see them explore those elements of control and fear within the quarters of their relationship. I would’ve liked to see Peter (who always seemed to know more about banshees than anyone else) help her give her powers a go. I think we could’ve saw darker sides of Peter and softer sides of Peter with this relationship. They had this scene where Peter is trying to pull Lydia back (the whole mental thing where her nose starts to bleed and shit and he kneels down in front of her and we get our resident Peter screams her name scene - cause Peter loved to scream Lydia…not that I’m complaining), but that moment always makes me wonder what protective, on the brink of real lost Peter is like. Plus I always liked how Peter describes Lydia.

When Parrish came around…it didn’t make me sad…I was like oooo - perfection! Now Lydia can have her two way link! Since she goes the line, she can now have her danger (Peter - aka bad guy) and her safety net (Parrish - aka good guy). And Peter and Parrish…ugh all that tension that could’ve been had…all that underlining lust that could’ve beckoned everything. The cop and borderline villain! Untouched innocence and darkness being held together by a woman with her foot in both worlds! The werewolf, banshee and the hellhound!! That battle of what’s really deserving…only to have it end in a great powerful ot3! I would’ve so been here for it.

Of course Teen wolf satisfied none of my desires tho…

Turns out the Lore episode that Holland’s going to be in is the “Black Stockings” one...
