As I plunge into the final week of NaNoWriMo, I wanted to talk about my experience so far.
My plans for the week are to push through the last 10000 or so words at any moment possible I have to work on them, while also being extremely cautious about not driving myself into a hole. Between the Thanksgiving rush at work and familial obligation, it will not be the easiest task, but I also feel like it can be done. I honestly don't know if I am going to make it. No matter what happens, I am going to keep writing until the very last millisecond of November 30th. Because even without winning, I have accomplished something huge here.
If I have learned anything from finally getting to do this, is that I am not a book writer. I know NaNo isn't where you are supposed to be trying for your very best writing, but that's not what I mean. Writing is fun, and I love to do it on occasion. It's not the same as drawing. I cannot communicate this story through words the way I could through art, and that realization that NaNo has given me has put making this into a comic into a whole new perspective.
I am going to make this comic, and it is going to be the most spectacular thing.
Welp I guess I better get comfy I'm going to be in this car repair shop waiting room for the next three hours...
But it's ok, because Google Drive continues to the greatest google app in existence, and enables me to work on Nano while I wait.
I could probably go on for the full three hours about how much I love Google Drive, but then I would get nothing done.
Did I mention they have two dogs here? They are cute and I plan to pet them every time they come near.
I have legit been calling this minor, severely underdeveloped character Fruitrollup for like fifteen pages or so in order to avoid getting stuck. I should take the time to come up with a real name soon. I almost feel bad for them.

Did less today, and took a break yesterday. Working tomorrow, so will probably do less tomorrow too. Then Wednesday I'm off again, it's my last day off until probably Sunday, so it will be time to go into SUPER WRITING MOOOOOOODE!!!!
Contemplating what to do today hmhmhhmhhmmhm
I could sit at Barnes and Noble again to work on writing but I could also sit on my porch to work on writing. Pros of B&N I have access to japanese food later for lunch and I am not stuck in the house and I can walk the mall which is exercise and I'll be left alone. Cons are I have to drive there and no one is here with my Granny today so I'll feel bad about leaving her alone, which she'd probably be alright by herself for a while but who knows what could happen, plus I am guaranteed to spend money I don't need to be spending. Pros of writing on the back porch are that it's diddly dang gorgeous outside today and feels so cool out and I could take a walk down the street for exercise and I'm nearby so I don't have to worry about my Granny. Oh, and save money. Cons are no Japanese food or getting out of the house, though I would technically be outside...
After much observation of what I just argued with myself it seems the porch is the best idea. I need to be home tonight for the Steven Universe premiere anyway.
Time to get to work!

I'm so proud of myself, words can't even describe how amazed with myself I feel right now, and for someone who constantly tears into themselves, it's a great, great feeling.
Tomorrow I am taking a break, I plan to spend it drawing a scene from what I wrote today, and maybe add a little to the outline. Mostly draw. I want to keep ahead since I've been doing so well, and taking breaks will be just as important as getting a lot done.
