Gaddiel’s day had started with a phone call from Ramirez Mechanic’s at 10 in the morning, letting him know that his car was going to take another day due to a mix up between his and one of the other cars. An unlucky mishap it would seem, only now all of the parts and service was being done free a charge on a job that would have easily been at least $1500 with labor cost. From there he’d gone to make himself something to eat for breakfast, thinking he might have run out of cheese to make an omelette with, only to find a bag of finely shredded cheddar near the back that was a few days out from the expiration date.
It was a little past 1 now and he stood inside of Bonfamille’s Bakery, ready to eat again, and looking at all the pastries that were out for the day. “How to choose, how to choose” he tapped his chin a little, talking to himself as he waited in line.
