Okay guys! My exciting news is this picture right here! I did a HEADSTAND today! It doesn't look like much. Some of you can probably do this in your sleep. But I am TERRIFIED of having my feet over my head. So what lead me to be in this position you make ask? . . It was gorgeous outside for the first time in what feels like forever. So I decided to take my yoga mat out and do some stretches. Then I thought 🤔 "hmm ill try a tripod, I've been able to kind of do these in the past". Then one of the times I swung up a bit more and my knees came up. Then I thought.. You can DO this, just GO FOR IT. After I got my legs up for the first time I looked around with a huge smile on my face like "did anyone see that?!".. I was in my backyard.. No one saw 😂😂 . . Was I terrified? YES. Did I fall? Also yes! Did I get hurt? No!.. That was the biggest thing! Getting over the little voice in my head saying I couldn't do it. That's all that was holding me back!.. Is it a perfect headstand? Nooooooo but I FUCKING DID IT! 🙌🏼 . . What are your thoughts holding your back from? You have so much potential! Do the things you want. Even if you're terrified, even if you may fall along the way.
