Pull rod for position adjustment of machine parts
Push Road A rod that is used to link or actuate a mechanical device is generally known as a pushrod. In overhead valve engines, the rod that lies between the valve lifter and the rocker arm.
heres just a REALLY basic explanation of pull rod vs. push rod suspension: basically, in push rod the exterior suspension rods PUSH the rocker element inside the nose, and in pull rod they PULL the rocker. the interior configurations of both setups are essentially the same, except the pull rod configuration is "upside down" - which is what allows for the 'pulling' action (sorry – this is kind of a shitty explanation! I'll send you another ask with links a video that should explain it better)
Hey wow! Thank you for actually taking the time to read my tag game replies and to make this message too. To those still wondering about the Pull rod/Push rod things, a set of links provided by this lovely fellow Brevity-wit.
