john brushes off the petals sticking to body as he walked through the eternal cherry blossoms area of cotes ward. exploring this place is kinda fun, especially the moment he comes in, his first thought was: ‘ah, i’m definitely in an anime now.’

pushing away the thoughts of being an anime boy with kiss kiss fall in love playing in the background, he traverses the area, hoping to see something interesting around here. 

that is, until you see a somewhat familiar face. it’s apparent to john that she’s a troll from far away if not for her candy corn horns but he doesn’t quite remember where he saw her. probably during the dream bubbles? anyways, he approaches her regardless. 

there are many perfectly understandable reasons for people to be rattled and afraid being swept away in a new city. unfamiliar sights, not a single troll in the place, but lanque knows as long as he can write there’s no reason for him to be afraid.

if there’s anything that brings him at least a shred of sorrow, it’s the fact that soldier purrbeasts doesn’t seem to exist here. it’s replaced with an unfamiliar series named ‘warriorcats’... such an odd name! lanque purchased a copy of the very first book in the series, and if there’s anything that accompanies a good book it’s tea and nature.

[Speaking of familiar people... well, there was someone else around wasn’t there. For one, you can feel as if a pair of cat eyes were watching you from behind. Majority of your own senses are pretty shit, but at least that weird familiarity was around. Now what familiar cat was it that was watching his back...]

[Turning around to look, he couldn’t exactly see well, you know, being half blind and half dead kind of blows, but turning your head one way to the next, you were able to make out Nepeta. Thank all the fucking cods in the world that it was her and not... well, it could have been much more annoying and sad to deal with.]
