Well I definitely feel Seunghee, Elkie and Yujin of CLC deserve all the love, usually people obsess over Yeeun and Seungyeon for CLC but Seunghee has a strong voice, Elkie has a pretty voice and Yujin could hold her, she used to sing in the chorus on some CLC songs so it's upsetting to see her get less lines than some others in Kepler I won't lie

There's the girlies like Soyeon (Laboum), Kei (Lovelyz), Monday (Weeekly), Chowon (Lightsum), Swan (Purple Kiss) etc that are in girl groups that a chunk of people know but I feel like most know them as members of a group and not stand out solo vocalists, they might all have stand out parts all the time like Solji on Every Night but these girls still sound great.

I do feel Jamie (15&) could get some more love, she obviously took a very different music path than Baek Yerin but still she's a phenomenal vocalist, she beat Lee Hi on kpop Star. Also JOO and Baek A-yeon, the other JYP soloists need more respect.

There's vocal groups, nugu or otherwise, that deserve more appreciation, everyone loves Kiss & Cry and Purfles, as they should but A Train to Autumn, Lush, Eye to Eye, Yell OW, Odd Eye and BTswing are all solid groups with solid vocalists.

Rainbow needs to stop being slept on because they always sang their hearts out, especially Hyunyoung!

Subin of Dal Shabet is phenomenal like stream DalSooobin solo music but also OSDS her new girl group.

Stellar!!!! Like sure cunt servage but when you listen to Vibrato like they're belting like crazy at the end, Hyoeun was amazing as were the other 3.

Yoari is the famous, I was almost in Brown Eyed Girls, singer but her songs Lie and Excuse Me and Do you like it are good and her voice is very strong and raspy.

I could on but I'll just end on this nugu group, I don't know if anyone remembers being there in real time/my nugu GG of the Week for them but Purplay debuted and this one girl, Yura? I don't remember but the one with the hand microphone doing all the singing while the other 3 struggle, was SANGING her heart out, this is the definition of rent was due

Purplay (퍼플레이) is a 4 member GG that debuted in 2013, consisting of Umi, Geeyo, E.Ple, and Seolha (nugu darling). After disbandment Seolha redebuted as Rumi into Unicorn (y'all still streaming Huk?)

Much like 84LY they aren't on any streaming service 😔 (I'm trying to do just one miscellaneous post for GGs like this but this one group deserves their own post but trust that misc post will be here soon 🧐) it's a shame because this song is well 👀 very odd and kinda a jumbled mess BUT listen this group needs to be talked about. The song is like a power ballad in the same vein as Because of You by After School, but had this weird EDM dance break (which was plagiarized btw, they had to apologize and everything, probably why they disbanded), however there is one shining light in this weird group and their weird song. And the fact this group has their own Christina Aguilera. We talk about how mics aren't on these days anymore but my god this one girl was doing all the heavy lifting in this song and their live stages, like we need the microphones on! If todays talent can't sing their hearts out like these nugus with this weird ass song well that's genuinely sad 😔

Below 👇 is the live stage and a arirang radio performance, we need singers again guys like seriously. If I was from a big company going on stage to lip sync and then this nugu girl showed me up I would be embarrassed and retire! Also the crickets 🦗🦗🦗 in the audience (I heard one woo but still) like this girl is singing for her life! She knew rent was due and yet...she didn't make the money despite her hard work. Also keep in my mind this live stage isn't even the full song either, they stop after the dance break. Sadness and pain 😔
