for their shipname i'm being unsure because usually i use seer for sybill and kiss for doris but i think seerkiss/kissseer just sounds ass. that's why i feel like purley (from purkiss and trelawney) would be better since it's cuter
after making the moodboard, i am totally and purely fixated on their aesthetics and how well they compliment each other visually. like, doris's blue with undertones of golden & sybill's velvet with undertones of silver + the general brown-ish tint of both their colour palettes? obsessed. also stars and glitter and cheetah prints go so well with crystals and eyeliner and fur coats. idk it makes my eyes all giddy and happy and satisfied
for their personalities and story and chemistry together, i literally have nothing up to now, so i'll just start yapping and see how it goes:
i'm going the non canon route for them because i don't concern myself with canon doris a lot, simply cause i don't know much. i am always thinking about band aus with her because she's a singer and all, though i feel like purley does better in one of those 3 worlds:
fame au/socmed -> doris would stay a singer, while sybill is either a very famous seer and just like one of those esoteric girls that do tarot for fans or she'd be an actress cause i feel like that's her vibe
modern day or 2000s in which sybill is a fortune teller and doris stumbles upon her store (do you call that a store??) during a shopping spree. then she impulsively decides to jump in and they fall in love at first sight
(angst) highschool au -> sybill falls VERY hard for her best friend (they're both weird girls in the back of the class) but said best friend aka doris falls for this dude that was her partner in canon who also sings i think and then they get together and there's a lot of internalised homophobia and miscommunication and general teenager angst and yeah either doris realises her feelings in the end or it's simply unrequited
